OK, enough chit-chat. Let's proceed to the serious business - did you played my modified Norway 4 and 5 missions?
Norway 4,
Nice body swap, now the officer looks high ranking.
I don't remember, was that silver-colored filing cabinet always in his office?

Norway 5,
For a second there, I thought you deleted the boat. Nice moving it back, to make us truly pay the consequence of being discovered.

With the snowy Kubelwagen, I made it to the escape point with only 2 seconds left on the dynamite.

Thank you for the feedback!

Hmm, wasn't it the Prague uprising, or was it the Polish uprising, where the Red Army decided to sit back and actually allow the Germans to crush the uprising?
This actually happened in the Polish uprising in Warsaw in Autumn 1944.
Ah ok. Thank you for the correction.

The mission intro, under the mission selection picture, says it's possible that we will take shots from "all sides involved", and the instructor says "the Russians might not be friendly because of our friend."

If this was COD4 style, the Russians would greet us as comrades just when we are about to board our plane, and then they would turn demanding when they saw we had a guest, and would turn hostile if we don't hand him over.

The instructor is lying. The only reason why we could get shot while crossing the stone bridge, is because the Russians are shooting to those few Germans already on the bridge!!! They could not kill the German scientist, because his character is set as neutral in the HD Editor, lol.

No, I haven't even passed North Ocean, I was going to see if you were going to change anything. :|

If not, I shall play it. And then analyze your changes to Prague 1, see if they are any good. :twisted:

To be honest, i will not change anything in the stock Northoc mission - it is good as it is.

Well, about Prague 1 mission - surely the modified mission will be more demanding and there will be more "events".

You will have also more tactical possibilities, because now you could shot trough metal fences :grin: .

It was always annoying to me, that in the stock H&D Deluxe a fence was a impassable barrier for bullets, lol.

North Ocean review,
No Change, though I am curious as to what is inside the submerged rooms of the ship.
Too bad we can't take the duck.
Too bad we can't make the ship sink faster with all that explosive stuff onboard.
What do you think that 2nd steering wheel is for?

OK, i edited the Ardennes1 mission. thup01

List of changes compared to the stock Ardennes1 mission:

- few enemy patrols added;

- 2 MG towers added;

- changed the jeep mounted MG rate of fire to single;

- fuel added to the enemy halftrack;

- changed behavior of some enemies - now they will guard assigned area;

- objects collision optimized;

- changed the enemy weapons ID to match the newest data.dta archive.

Please download and test this mission.

In one of the flooded rooms you could find a kind of small hospital. I know this, because i used the Northoc map in one of my add-ons called "The Sea Wolves". When i "equalized" the ship i was able to see previously flooded ship's compartments.

The duck is a nice Easter Egg, lol.

As i wrote earlier - making the whole ship destroyable would be almost impossible.

Well, the second steering wheel is maybe a kind of "backup" if the first one get damaged or stop working.

However, this won't help when you got a ship's rudder jammed (from torpedo or bomb hit). Such situations happened few times in WWII.

Prague 1 review.
Are fewer Russians attacking from the bridge? If not, then where do they go? They seem to vanish. :-? :?:

Do the three civilians not counterattack anymore if you save their lives? :-? :?:

You should place a Panther or Pz-IV at the escape point, to give my family the old "nasty surprise waiting at escape point", like we get in the labor camp. (Germany 5) :grin:

Gasp! How dare the Germans block off the only sanctuary for the people of the city! angry01
And block the main flanking point against the tank at that.

I was wondering if that big red cross was an infirmary, or perhaps the ship's chapel.

Go Bismarck!

Plus, I like blowing stuff up. If you blow up every barrel and explosive box on the ship, you REALLY make it look damaged on the outside.

Prague 2 review.
Total disaster.
Almost all the Russians are scripted to run straight into MG fire.

Is there anyway to make the Russians wait for a signal* to attack, or delay their attack by two minutes**?

The Russians need MG-mounted vehicles, like Jeeps, or stolen halftracks, or motorcycles to help them. Since they can't have any Shermans.

Down the dirt road, is an industrial town, (a cardboard cutout funny02 ) from there, a bunch of partisans should attack, to seize the control tower.

*The signal would be the explosive box on top of the control tower. Maybe one of the RAF's Yaks dropped a bomb on top of it. :grin:

**I need at least two minutes to hamper the MGs on that tower with sniper fire.
