However, i have no idea of possible changes in Poland2 mission.

This mission is quite hard in my opinion, so i won't add any new enemies or vehicles into it.

Most important will be to change the enemy weapons ID to match the newest data.dta archive.

I changed some enemy weapons to Mauser K98 rifle.

As for the 2nd and 3rd campaigns of the FFF expansion, i could make some additional changes - because most of the maps are quite big.

OK, i edited the Poland1 mission. thup01


List of changes:

- fuel added to motorcycle and Kubelwagen;

- changed enemy weapons ID to match the newest data.dta archive;

- added a possibility to shoot through metal fence that surrounds the airfield area;

- changed behavior of some enemy soldiers - now they will guard the assigned area;

- changed statistics of enemy soldiers (endurance, reaction, etc);

- increased the "endurance" of the allied agent to an average value (he will take more "damage" before get killed);

- changed the "resistance" value of the Kubelwagen from 9 (like SAS jeep) to 4 (unarmored vehicle). Now you will need to be careful to not blow up the Kubelwagen accidentally, because this will result in mission failure. Aim for the driver to stop the vehicle;

Does Prague 1 have a bunch of partisans attacking the cannon?
Or a bunch of Russians attacking from the bridge?
A small band of partisans should be holding the front of the restaurant. (Green sign, where you can flank the tiger)
Either partisans or unarmed civilians should make a run for the shelter of the cathedral; sadly, they will get hit by the Tiger.

There are 3 groups of Russian soldiers in my modified Prague1 mission:

- one group is attacking the hill with cannon,

- one group is holding the position on the bridge,

- one group is attacking through the bridge across the Prague streets heading to the cathedral plaza.


The cathedral is guarded by 2 snipers in the towers by default. I added two MG nests near the cathedral entrance.

There are already some civilians/insurgents being chased/executed by German soldiers in the stock Prague1 mission.

I am not planning to further edit the Prague1 mission.

This should be possible, since i did that in one of my add-ons, which uses the stock H&D Deluxe map (in example in "The Great Escape" i changed the day into night for the mission purposes. The map is taken from stock Germany4 mission).

However, i will NOT do that, because this will make the Northoc mission a lot harder, when the enemy could spot you from a greater distance on the ship deck. The "fog" gives this mission a horror movie style effect along with the terrifying ship sinking sound :grin: . I always got scared playing this mission, lol.

To be fair, the instructor says "there is an uprising going on here", that means militia (armed civilians/partisans) are causing trouble, not the Soviet soldiers.

And in times of trouble, the church is supposed to be the main shelter for civilians. They might not know of the snipers. In fact, that is why the bells are ringing. The priests are calling their people to the shelter.

As for the Russians holding the bridge, they would know the Germans don't have the strength to counterattack, and plus, being the dumb bots that they are, the sand bags and wooden tank-traps would block them. Why not remove them? Comrade Stalin is demanding an attack, NO defense! URA!

LOL, that is another reason to make it daytime; it's less scary. I feel like I am back on the Titanic. The sound of groaning metal sends a shiver down my spine.

As to the Germans, my brothers and simply meet their attack with our own attack, we charge, and kill them all as fast as possible, to stop them from getting inside the ship.

Historically, the Prague insurgents received help from Red Army to get rid off Germans in the city. I wanted to depict that.

In my opinion, there is already a lot of confusion in the mission, no need to improve this, lol.

Well, don't believe the instructor who said, that the Germans will try to remove all important stuff from the ship - they will not do that. In fact, even if they manage to capture the decoding machine (just pure theory) where they would escape - underwater?

Of course, they enemy AI could be programmed to steal the decoding machine and get back to the pontoon - our objective would be to prevent that.
They could sail using pontoon to a nearby U-boat, lol. The problem is, that the pontoon model is only stationary - it cannot moves :grin: .

Hmm, wasn't it the Prague uprising, or was it the Polish uprising, where the Red Army decided to sit back and actually allow the Germans to crush the uprising?

This actually happened in the Polish uprising in Warsaw in Autumn 1944.
