I decided to make another update of the Germany 5 mission - before i record the gameplay and upload it on my Youtube channel.

Beside already implemented changes i made few new ones:

- enemy soldiers reaction time increased - in order to avoid the "lightning speed reaction time" (even faster than a real human is able to react);

- improved accuracy of enemy soldiers;

- added "Potato masher" grenades to some enemy soldiers inventory;

- small bugs fixed.

Please download and test this mission.

Uh oh, "Running the gauntlet" might be much harder if German's shooting is 100%. funny02

EDIT:
Sad that despite having the right label, the panzerfaust boxes in H&D, with the exception of the two in Danube 5, are 75% empty, if you know what I mean.

Well, i didn't set all enemy soldiers shooting skill to 100% (only enemy snipers).

The setting "shoot quality %" determines the accuracy of shots within the shooting skill (as far as i know). However, that doesn't mean that all shots would be a certain hit - as even soldiers with 100% shooting skill could miss (stupid AI).

Ah ok.
I was going to see how good the Germans would be if every single one that is armed with a panzerfaust had a shooting-rating of 100%. :shock:

I would like to inform you Myron, that starting from Thursday morning till Saturday evening i will be busy, so i probably won't have time for H&D Deluxe modding. If you have any request for changes in the H&D Deluxe missions please post it before that period or after it. Thank you for your understanding.

I decided to update the data.dta archive again. thup01

Beside already implemented changes i slightly increased the "shoot delay" value for those stock H&D Deluxe weapons:

- M1 Carbine,

- MP40,

- Sten,

- Johnson M41.

Hopefully, this will reduce the problem with "shotgunning enemies" who are shooting from their weapons unrealistically fast. :roll:

However, according to the forum member NilsZ, this bug cannot be entirely eliminated from the game. :sad:

Please download and test the newest data.dta archive version.

OK, i am back. thup01

I just returned from the Baltic Sea coast - i visited the city of Gdańsk (i highly recommend it).

I was especially impressed by a WWII Museum - they even got there a Sherman Firefly and T-34/85 (see pictures below)! :cool:

Huh? The T-34 gets to have a nice replica of a war-torn wall and rubble-covered street, but the Sherman must sit in a boring room?

It's discrimination! funny02

The World War II Museum expositions were focused mainly about the Eastern Front - i encountered lots of Red Army uniforms and equipment. I actually saw the NKVD uniform - the one which you wanted to use in the Greece 4 mission (see picture below). I saw also the standard revolver of the Red Army (Nagant), but i didn't make a picture of it. Despite its name, the Nagant revolver was made by a Belgian guy. ;)

However, i highly doubt, that the Russian NKVD officers in Greece 4 mission should be dressed in NKVD uniforms, since i.e. during the Korean War the Russian jet pilots were disguised as Chinese or North Korean pilots - they even didn't use Russian language to communicate through radio, to obtain maximum secrecy about their presence, LOL.

As the Greece 4 mission takes place during the "Cold War", the Russian "advisors" should pay attention not to be discovered directly by Western Allies.

I decided to make another update of the Norway 1 mission - before i record the gameplay and upload it on my Youtube channel.

Beside already implemented changes i made few new ones:

- added "Potato masher" grenades to enemy soldiers inventory;

- objects static collision optimized;

- more dense checkpoint grid to make the AI easier to navigate;

- small bugs fixed.

Could You Myron give me some feedback about my H&D Deluxe missions walktrough videos uploaded on my Youtube account?

You only discussed about Your tactics while playing certain missions, which i don't consider as a feedback in general. :roll:

Any feedback will be appreciated!

Thank You in advance! :grin:

There will be more videos, stay tuned. :cool:

You still sure that this wisecracker can't pass for an NKVD officer? :-?

Sure, the color is wrong, but, then again, I don't recall any Soviet conscripts (or any WWII Soviet soldiers) wearing the uniform you see in H&D either.

No, the NKVD officers worn different uniforms (like the ones seen on the picture taken by me from WWII museum).

In the Greece 4 mission the NKVD officers should wear the "communist partisans uniforms" in order to prevent them from being discovered by Western Allies as supporters of the Civil War in Greece. It is about Cold War politics in general.

Quote from my previous post (you obviously didn't read it carefully): "i highly doubt, that the Russian NKVD officers in Greece 4 mission should be dressed in NKVD uniforms, since i.e. during the Korean War the Russian jet pilots were disguised as Chinese or North Korean pilots - they even didn't use Russian language to communicate through radio, to obtain maximum secrecy about their presence, LOL."

That is all in this topic from my side and i won't add Russian soldiers into Greece 4 mission dressed in Russian uniforms. :!:

Rather sad that the conscripts never tried* (as far as I know for a fact) turning on the ONE man pointing a revolver at them ordering to run straight into MG fire.
