Of course, I always tell them to "follow me", and they either escape building alive, or they get shot by the German overseer. Either way leaves me free to destroy the fuel supplies within.p.jakub88 wrote: ↑Fri Oct 27, 2017 11:50 amPlus, who is expecting a commando raid?
Maybe you are right. However, they placed by default an AA gun on the main factory building's roof, so they were expecting a bombing raid instead. Hiding those big oil tanks would be impossible, but smaller fuel barrels could be stored somewhere else.
I didn't remove the small fuel barrels inside the factory main building and i put prisoner workers close too them. Would you spare their lives or not?![]()

So, did you test my newest Italy 2 mission? Did you still get kill by that MG tower above while you were underground or not?

LOL. We both know, that you were referring to German soldiers in Italy 2 mission not to a vegetable (i am not so stupid as you think i am)...

The British called the Germans during WWII "Jerries" instead.
There was a famous Disney cartoon episode with Donald Duck, that took place in Germany during WWII, called "Der Fuehrer's Face. Very funny in my opinion - especially the main song theme: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kzH1iaKVsBM.

Glad to hear that!

By the way: did you decide to play my "The road to Mandalay" add-on? It is quite fun to ride the Matilda II tank across the valley.

Anyway,
Italy 4 rerun.
No bugs found.

Making the bazooka take 2-3 rounds of the bazooka is realistic. (the one tank) . And only 1 if hit from the underside is also good. (The tank whose underside can be hit from the road.)
For once, the 3 partisans that I could find managed to snipe 4 Germans, taking only 1 casualty.

In Classical H&D, the POW boxcar was indestructible. In Deluxe, it can be damaged*, and partially derailed. I sure hope them men inside weren't hurt.

*Boxcars have three modes, "intact", "damaged", and "destroyed". Thankfully, there is no way to make that car "destroyed". Italy 2 has the same boxcar, and that one CAN be "destroyed".

Hmm, strange. I didn't change the bazooka power, so only 1 shot should be enough to blow up any tank in the game.
All those 3 Tiger tanks found in Italy 4 mission should have resistance ID 6 assigned to them.
However, i increased the default ID 6 resistance to 4100 value. Maybe this is the side effect of this change?
In the default mat_sound.tab table, there are 2 IDs positions named "faust" - one has explosion power set to 5000 and the second set to 8000.
I wonder, if the weaker one is related to bazooka and the stronger one to Panzerfaust? See picture below.
Please, check for me if the Panzerfaust is also weaker than before. If so, i would be forced to edit the data.dta archive again. The Panzerfaust was a better weapon than Bazooka and could penetrate even 200 mm of armor depending of the version: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Panzerfaust.
Thank you in advance!

Re: H&D Deluxe; the ultimate mod; Mission overhauls
For the test to be fair, it should happen in the same mission, so you could add a panzerfaust or two leaning against the wall of one of the ruined buildings of the old, abandoned farm, of Italy 4.
P.S. That place looks a little small for a farm, no?
Edit: I wonder why the 3 guests reading this forum say nothing.

NO, please test the Panzerfaust in example in Germany 5 mission and try to destroy the chasing Tiger - just like i did every time.
You could also try the same in Prague 1 mission (the Tiger hidden on the cathedral square).
As for FFF mission, you could try to destroy the captured Panther in Greece 3 mission.
If i changed something accidentally in the Panzerfaust and Bazooka powers it would be applied to all game, not just to Italy 4...
EDIT: I checked the Italy 4 mission once again: 2 of those 3 tanks on the damaged bridge have unusual collision volumes added to them by default. See pictures below. Maybe this is the reason why they could withstand more Bazooka hits? Notice the bottom (tracks) of those 2 Tiger tanks.

Re: H&D Deluxe; the ultimate mod; Mission overhauls
But the Italy 4 tanks, are they the "changed model"? You told me that the Tigers in Germany 5 were from the FFF versions. Plus, those could be interacted. Whereas in Italy 4, those are stiff models that can't be interacted with.
P.S. Ok, testing Germany 5, chasing tank.
AT mine on starboard (right) track... destroyed. (this is wear I hit the Italy 4 tank with the bazooka)
3 Panzerfausts hit starboard body... remains intact.
AT mine on port (left) track... remains intact, added 3 panzerfausts on starboard side after AT mine detonated, and tank is still operational.
1 Panzerfaust to the face (front) of the tank... destroyed.
3 Panzerfausts to the backside (rear, ass) of the tank... remains intact. (The massive exhaust pipes must be heavily armored.)
2 Panzerfaust hits to the left (port) body of the tank... destroyed.

Re: H&D Deluxe; the ultimate mod; Mission overhauls
Hmm, I see why the 3rd tank, (first picture) gets blown up just by the splash damage of me destroying the tank next to it.
Re: H&D Deluxe; the ultimate mod; Mission overhauls
Well those Tiger models from Italy4 mission are versions only, meaning that they could be destroyed but not used as a fighting vehicle.
Now make the same tests, but using bazooka instead of Panzerfaust so i could compare the results and decide to modify the data.dta archive again or not.

Well try maybe Italy4 instead or any other mission with Tiger tanks...Myron wrote: ↑Sat Oct 28, 2017 11:58 amCrap, I didn't pack a bazooka, so now I must start the campaign all over again...p.jakub88 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 28, 2017 11:50 amWell those Tiger models from Italy4 mission are versions only, meaning that they could be destroyed but not used as a fighting vehicle.

I wonder how the Panther tank will behaves now.
