I edited the Germany3 mission. thup01

In the default mission, when you exit the Steiner's office after his death, almost everything inside the factory explode without the player participation. In the result, you could complete one of the 2 mission objectives very easy. Now, you will need to destroy two wagons with white boxes on it, locomotive and all trucks, to achieve this goal. You could find 8 time bombs (which is enough) in the explosives storage place. Now, the player has an open access to explosives storage place and it is surrounded by a metal fence like it was before. By the way, the narrator in the briefing told us, that we could use those explosives, so why not use them? I think, that now the mission is much more realistic than before.

I converted a "visual" into a usable model of barracks and i placed few of them inside the complex, see picture below.
You will need to download the models.mod.rar archive and unpack it to your main H&D Deluxe directory in order to see this building in Germany3 mission.

I also added 2 MP44 in the Steiner's office - 150 bullets each.

Now, the SAS commandos will start this mission dressed in green German uniforms with backpacks.

Unfortunately, i have something wrong with the Germany3 mission briefing, please replace it with the stock briefing folder of Germany3 mission from your missions.dta backup.

Any feedback will be appreciated!

I could add a German officer and Allied prisoner in the interrogation room. As soon as the mission starts the officer will shoot the prisoner with his Luger pistol. I don't know if this would blow our cover - you will need to check that for me as usual, lol.

I will look also into other aspects of the Germany1 mission - especially into guards behavior.

If i manage to finish the work on Germany1 mission i will let you know - meantime check my modified Germany2 and Germany3 missions.

Did you put enemies in the backyard? I cleared Steiner's house, and the house's perimeter, but can't get the "all clear".

I need to quit the game to return here, so I will try again right now.

P.S. What do you think is happening in the Germany 2 picture?

P.P.S. The instructor mentions the possibility of Steiner's secretary being in the house. If this secretary is male, can you add him? He should wear a unique uniform, like that black one with the armband, or something.

There are 2 enemies by default in the backyard patrolling the gate, near the small guard house.

Maybe i will add the Steiner's male secretary.

About the picture - the enemy guards are reporting to Steiner about the arrival of SAS commandos dressed as Germans, lol.

If the secretary is female, well, then I am glad she wasn't there that night. :cool: I can't have a fraulein's death on my conscience. Now I can't speak for the others but I've never killed a woman, German or not, and I'm finicky.

LOL, now that we are dressed in the same uniform, maybe that man is one of us, telling them that we be in the backyard, camping, if that is ok. funny02

I just tried again, opened every door, checked every room, (I even found one of the four gates to be unlocked), and I still can't get complete; is there a hidden German anywhere? :|

BTW, did you know that the "Green Cross" represents medical marijuana? I wonder what Steiner has in his drawers. (See the Germany 2 instructions if you don't get my joke). funny02

The instructions rarely make too much sense. Especially in Germany 3. Thanks for changing that.

My remedy before was to simply arm each guy with a rocker (faust), and fire them all in random directions before exiting the office.
Are the bookshelves still destroyable?

P.S. Was the locomotive there before, but always got crushed by the rocks?

P.P.S. do the rocks still fall at all? They could be triggered to fall when we reach the exit...

I removed the bookshelves, because in the briefing we was told to damage enemy equipment not documents.

I don't know if the rocks are still falling, please check that.

Download also my models.mod.rar archive, otherwise the mission won't work! (missing barracks model).

Like, take Italy 2, for example. The objectives don't say anything destroying the railway tankers, but I ALWAYS do it, because I love to do it. :mrgreen:

OK, i edited once more the Germany1 mission.

I removed those 3 Germans on the stairs, because they behaved strange according to your words.

I added a German officer and Allied prisoner in the interrogation room. When the mission starts, the officer will shoot the prisoner with his Luger pistol. thup01

Please download and test the mission again. I hope, that there would be no more changes in Germany1, because i want to check the Germany2 mission for you.

They are not the only ones acting weird, but I took the time to study their body movements. :?: Apparently, they are programed to run up to corpses and look down to investigate, and then run looking for a culprit, but they have no idea it's "yours truly". :roll: :idea:
So, if you wish to, you can put those three guys, (one officer and two cunt-caps), back on the stairs. It does no harm. My family is going to go on a knifing frenzy! :twisted:

The ringing phone, is it Steiner?

Nope, the officer shooting prisoner was just fine, didn't blow our cover. :mrgreen:
Now we know for sure what happened to the 4th prisoner. We were too late. frown01

One last note, did you change the uniform of the guy guarding the truck outside? I could have sworn he worn the greenish-gray (no backpack). I'm just curious.

OK, i edited the Germany2 mission once more.

I replaced one German guard inside the villa with the "Steiner's secretary" model. He is armed with Luger pistol.

I edited the mission objectives, i hope that now everything will work as it should. Please let me know.


Did you notice that i replaced all the small stock windows in the Steiner's villa with my new custom destroyable ones? :cool:

In the meantime, here are Germany 4 suggestions; give the sentry a key that will unlock the two locked fenced gates, or just unlock them yourself.

And replace the stock halftrack with the one from Ardennes 1.
