I can?t install h&d 2_ss..need help!!

I can?t install h&d 2_ss..need help!!

I started to install h&d2, and then I installed the patch 1.12,
but when I put in disc 1 with sabre squadron I receieve a message:
?string accessed out of bonds ? .. Can someone tell me what to do?
Is this the correct way to install the game? :evil:

Do not install the 1.12 patch before you install SS...

Do not install anypatches before SS...
Eight, 8, the burning eight; between Sunday and Monday exists a day so great, it will devastate. :twisted:
