NO ONE CONNECTS TO THE SERVER

HI im Erick, i tried to make a server but no one connected i had no password, it was in Africa1 a deathmatch, and still no one connected. Does Windows has an automatic firewall or something or can someone help me turn them off!!! PLease i need help!!!

Erick, many people have found it impossible to host a server that works - me included. As far as I'm aware, and I could be wrong, the Windows automatic firewall doesn't interfere with H&D. But, if you're using a router, the router firewall will block some of the ports needed for hosting a server - it's possible to open them up, but I don't know which ones you need to open. There are other threads about this topic on the forum somewhere which might help you.

Yeah, it is hard to host working public server. I have often done that I only host private server for 2-3 guys, even 4 guys, since my connection allows it and game is not laggy then, and then we play co-op, sometimes deathmatch or 1on2\2on2 occupation in some small maps etc.

So, I suggest you should try giving up the hosting, unless your comp is good and connection allows you to host more than yourself.
