i would like to recolor the hidden and dangerous stug 3 model to a camo-color. is it possible? and what programs would be needed?

Is it possible?
Yes (although this is the origin factory colour)
Best is to use MaX3D and make a new model instead of Hexediting the textures. And an advanced paint-program would also be helpful.
