Lagging all the time?

Hey guys, so I downloaded Hidden & Dangerous Deluxe from the old website, problem is that whenever I try to play the game it's a constant 10-15 fps. I've tried compatibility mode for XP, Vista and 7 (95 and 98 didn't work at all) but that didn't change anything. I tried playing as an administrator but alas nothing changed, and of course I changed my settings, Full Screen, Resolution and all that. So does anyone here know what can help me or is my game stuck like this? I can't remember it being this laggy when I played it like 10-15 years ago.

which options have you choosen in the iconfig.exe ? What is the name of your graphics card?

Never mind, I tried to redownload and it worked! Not sure why though, I didn't do anything different.

I simply restart my computer, and the lag is usually gone when I start the game after the restart.
