Intro movie map

The intro map, where is it. I am almost certain i have played this map against the Germans. Also, is it Poland? just two main streets is all there is to this map, where is it? I did create a DM for this map, is it still getting used?
I lost all my HnD stuff in a HDD breakdown, all that work i did on those maps & Mafia etc is gone & i forget most of what i did & how i did it.
Any info please.

I thought the intro movie map was a standard DM? and yes I believe it was poland

Your right, the intro map is a standard DM, that aint the one i modded but am still sure i played against the Germans in this one.
The other map is Normandy4, just had a look thru the original mpmaplist. This is the one i modded for DM & again i am 100% sure i have played against the Germans, i still remember some of their placements, same with the intro map. Am sure Lars will come along soon & enlighten me :)

Intro map is Poland DM .. strangely named in as map in the directory as LondonMP

I only remember the Poland map from patch 1.04 1.05 times as one server has figured out that the map is in the game .... And IS removed the possibility to use it with patch 1.06 
Than I only know that the map was used in the vtm map from wck. Maybe you remember it from there?

Thanks for those links Lars, i looked at your site but i couldn't find them. I also remember doing Czech1 & 6 as DM but i dont know if i finished them.
I have definately played Normandy4 against the Germans, some of it now coming back to me, is this map part of HnD2, i dont have a completed game profile. There is no Normandy4 missions.dta, is there an unpacker for Patch.dta & SabreSquadron.dta. This is driving me crazy now.

Well I still have the emails you send me from sept 2005 and there where only these maps inside.
For Normandy4 and Poland ... you mean you played them in coop? Well you can add enemies into the maps but they will never move because there is no checkpoint grid for these maps. So they will always stay at one place.
If you made someting like that I never saw it

I only remember it from 1.06. I used to host this map almost exclusively during the months just before SS was released.

Of course with the release of SS it was added to the default maplist and fixed up; there used to be weird bugs and totally blue rooms.

Cannot remember if i played them in COOP or SP but i have played against Germans. N4, up where the Sherman is, third floor half building, always a German up there. In the yard where the APC is, always two Germans in there & i remember many other locations where they were placed. There's also a tank comes down right side of map. I remember sneaking about in the Poland/London map killing Germans. So... where/how did i play this, where did those two missions come from, someone must know.

So if IS removed the map all i need to do is download an old/unpatched version of HnD2 & extract the missions, simple innit.

Not so simple, not gonna be easy finding an old unpatched HnD2. Does anyone have one?

London or Poland, was not removed it is still in the game as the DM map it always was. They had higher aspirations for this game, the map was never finished. It was discovered hidden in there and playable and we started using it in mp. I guess they wanted to fix it for the SS release. With SS they fixed the blue room bugs, etcetera, and then added it to the maplist by default.

It was never a coop map or single player map straight from the game. I'm sure you probably played some player made version, but don't go assuming that if you fresh install and patch only so far that you will have it.

As for patches, I have every single one still; and of course the disks.

Tis mainly N4 am interested. If it was a player made mission i dont know where else i could of got it/them from, i was hoping Lars would know something. I'll have this unpatched version in a few hours, see whats in the missions.dta when i get it.

Well you don't have to download the unpatched version cause the unpacker only unpacks the unpatched files. So if you unpack anything you have version 1.0 with all the bugs etc unpacked. N4 should be nearly impossible cause you need also access to the sabre.dta's witch can't be unpacked. I don't know from where you think you got it ...  maybe you smoked at that time some bad sh!t

The missions.dta is the same as what i already have. I dont smoke any funny stuff Lars, i never have & i was not dreaming this. Playing N4 against the Germans made me create the N4 DM because i liked the map & there was no N4 DM. This has got me sooooo confused now. Hopefully someone will come along & see this topic & maybe have some info or maybe i will remember where i got them from.

There is a N4 COOP or SP out there somewhere.

Normandy 4 is not coop or single either. I believe you have played it, but it was not a default map, it was definitely player made. As Lars said, Normandy4 is from SS, and is in the SS dta, which you won't be able to unpack.

Eh!... Oh!... Poop!... So i dowloaded that old HnD2 for nowt. The only other board i remember being a member of was: http://www.freewebs.com/hnd2 but i dont think i got them from there.
