this screen capture shows the player models of "fairbairn" wielding a captured beretta m1938 alongside FFF soldiers "wolf" & "cigare" on Italy2.
(Bullet holes are visible on the ground, storage tank and top of sandbags)

sorry, i did not replace the faces of FfF yet. I implemented the FfF soldiers before the face bug fix, thats why that bug appeared later.

Thanks for looking, replying and providing those details, NilsZ.

Following your projects changelog with great interest in each release and am very grateful for your work overall with respect to faces

Simply having some fun exploring many of the newly available features, along with a few of my own old favorites, that we still may
enjoy while revisiting this one-of-a-kind game and all its particulars

Here our actor uses silent sten within game editor in image which shows the resulting "gun_hole" as it will appear on an un-textured map surface

Its really strange that the bullet holes were not in use in the vanilla game. The model and the texture was already included in the classic version. Maybe they decreased the peformance on old PCs too much. They work without any issues, i tested many hours and everything was fine.

Edit: KiloEcho, do you have also own addons? I see that you are experienced in modding.

Although I imported a retail copy of the cd version 1.5 over 20 years ago in order to gain access
to editor and plugins, in all that time, I have not yet made any real addon.

Early on I had intended to try and bring different weapons into the game, so was quite
pleased when first discovering jakubs efforts in making this desire for new guns a reality
for us all (must also acknowledge properly the large volume of other truly fine achievement
contained within his excellent body of work relating to this subject as well as so many others)

What I have done however is to eagerly seek, collect and study carefully those which have been produced
thus far (by many other talented people including yourself) while trying hard to learn what I could
through closely observing each one that has been created and shared over these past decades.

Can honestly say that the idea and possibility of making an addon does still hold great appeal to me even now.

You'd get version 1.7 if you buy the Steam version.

I made my first video with fraps (thanks for the standing ovations :mrgreen: )
It shows a new feature about reviving humans in maps using detectors. Modders have now new possibilites for map creation.

Wow this could be useful but if there's some type of clock delay to set it up by trigger or something

It could be resourceful and efficient + could be useful in a zombies survival map (MOD)
