BTW, I found a German just standing there, at the base of the mountain. (Blue)
And if I recall correctly, the sniper who was hiding somewhere in the red area seems to be missing. Maybe it's a one-time glitch.
That is what i like in Hidden and Dangerous. Sometimes the enemy just surprises you :)
One time i found a guard in the river in danube4

Probably taking a little private time. He is, after a man, far away from home.

As a reply to your last PM about the problem in the Germany 1 mission with opening the locked cells with key i looked again into that mission and you were right.
Earlier i switched the position of the key item on the inventory list in order to implement one of my custom weapons. It seems, that this was the cause of the problem. I restored the key's ID number to default while stil having the custom weapon on the inventory list.
Now you could again open the locked cells in the Germany 1 mission. I apologize for that bug.
I also needed to edit all the other mission where the key is needed to open locked doors/gates. Please download those missions as well as the modified data.dta archive.

I still can't figure why my men can't shoot standing up without one of their feet tapping the ground. Hey, one of you 12 guests reading this; any of you having this problem?

Maybe this is how the developers represented the weapons recoil during shooting? Anyway, for some reason the player "shakes" a lot while shooting the MP-44. Other automatic weapons seems to work OK - at least for me. Which particular weapon did you use?

The foot-stomp applies to all semi-auto and fully-auto weapons, when I fire them standing up. It's really annoying. If you hold down the trigger on the fully-auto, it sounds like I am running. Another problem is that it's harder to analyze and appreciate the sound-effects of the weapons themselves.

Do you mean the player's left foot being in front while firing weapons in standing stance? Because it moves when you fire. It should be possible to edit the firing animations.
Weird, i checked few SMGs on full-auto and i didn't hear the running sound - only the weapon shooting sound as usual.

It's not a "running sound", he simply stomps his foot once each single time when the gun bursts, so whenever I press and hold the trigger of, say, my Thompson, he is stomping his foot over and over again so fast that it sounds like he is running.
In 3rd person it's even worse, not only does he stomp his foot, but the accuracy is suddenly horrible, whereas the gun stays where it is in 1st-person.

Hmm, could you maybe record a video or just a sound of it? As far as i know i don't have such bug in my game. Use i.e. free tool called HyperCam or Fraps.

I just received a reply from NilsZ - he also doesn't have that weapon sound bug.
Maybe this is a problem with your hardware - like sound driver? H&D Deluxe runs strange on modern OS.

The Hyper Cam 2. I used it to record the H&D Deluxe walkthrough videos that i uploaded on my Youtube channel.
See pictures below how the program looks like.
If you need any help or tips how to record a video using Hyper Cam 2 please let me know.

Meanwhile you could try to run H&D Deluxe in compatibility mode / Safe mode.

Safe mode for recording, or in hopes of stopping the stomping?
