H&D Deluxe; the ultimate mod; Mission overhauls
Re: H&D Deluxe; the ultimate mod; Mission overhauls
I replaced the default Opel truck in the Germany 1 mission with my edited version with 8 seats - so all your team members and rescued prisoners could enter inside and escape together in one vehicle. Now it makes more sense.
I posted the edited Opel truck model in the "H&D Deluxe, the ultimate mod: Vehicles" thread.
Below i attached the updated Germany 1 mission.

Re: H&D Deluxe; the ultimate mod; Mission overhauls
I looked again into the Danube 1 mission and i added a missing sky to it. See picture below. Now it looks more realistic.
The idea was taken from the HIDDEN AND DANGEROUS EXTENDED mod by NilsZ.
Since i am rather done with major changes regarding my "H&D Deluxe; the ultimate mod" i will focus now on minor ones.

Re: H&D Deluxe; the ultimate mod; Mission overhauls
You should add also fog in the backdrop to hide to silhouettes of appearing objects. Then it's harder for snipers and more realistic.
Re: H&D Deluxe; the ultimate mod; Mission overhauls
There is already a backdrop fog set by default (<backdrop fog> light object).
However i could set a <default fog> light object to work also in the backdrop sector - see picture below.

Re: H&D Deluxe; the ultimate mod; Mission overhauls
As i promised i replaced the default pontoon model in the North Ocean mission with my edited driveable version.
Now the player will need to get back to Catalina on board the pontoon with the decoding machine in order to complete the mission within the 30-minutes time limit. I also changed one of the mission's objectives text description to inform the player than he will need to get back to Catalina onboard pontoon after obtaining the decoding machine.
I needed to edit the pontoon model again in order to add few collision volumes (so now the pontoon collides properly with other objects in the mission) and adjust its steering.
Please Myron give me later some feedback!

Speaking of howitzers - i replaced the default howitzer model in the Danube 3 mission with a mortar emplacement. It suits better for the lock defense than a field gun.

Re: H&D Deluxe; the ultimate mod; Mission overhauls
OK. As i promised i placed a Flak 88 AT-gun in the Germany 5 mission. See picture below.
I also placed the custom Stug III assault gun with summer camo to defend one of the bridges in the Germany 5 mission.
Moreover, i re-organized the German defense at the stone bridge guarded with tanks. I added barbed wire and new custom sandbag model. See picture below.
Unpack the sandbag mg.rar archive (models.mod and maps.mod folders) into your root H&D Deluxe directory.

Re: H&D Deluxe; the ultimate mod; Mission overhauls
I also restored the Opel truck in the Italy 1 mission. This is my custom 8-seated version from the Germany 1 mission.
Now the Italy 1 pre-mission picture makes sense (SAS boarding a truck).

Re: H&D Deluxe; the ultimate mod; Mission overhauls
Ah, I just now was investigating the that MG, and was about to report to you that I couldn't find the gunner. lol
Re: H&D Deluxe; the ultimate mod; Mission overhauls
I am trying to turn enemy MG nests in H&D Deluxe (at least some of them) to be as deadly as they were in Brothers in Arms series - when frontal attack on them was extremely risky and the MG nest needed to be flanked in most cases.
