OK Myron. Here you have another Vickers MG shooting sound taken from Youtube with an echo effect.

Unpack the sounds folder from the attached archive into your main H&D Deluxe directory and replace the old Vickers MG shooting sound (vickers.wav file) with the new one when asked.

I found a free, good looking, 3d model of the German FG-42 paratrooper automatic rifle on the https://p3dm.ru/files/weapon/ website, that i implemented in H&D Deluxe.

It has a shooting sound with a nice echo effect. See pictures below.

Below you have all the needed files in order to use the new FG-42 in H&D Deluxe. Unpack the content of the FG42.rar archive (so the models.mod, maps.mod and sounds folders) into your main H&D Deluxe directory. Don't forget also about the updated data.dta archive.

I plan to equip German paratroopers with that weapon. I made it as powerfull as bolt-action rifles - since it uses rifle caliber ammo.

I plan to add few MAS-36 rifles into the Ardenes campaign (as a captured / confiscated weapons from retreating / surrendered French soldiers in 1940). After the Battle of France, the Germans took over a large number of MAS-36s, which were given the designation Gewehr 242(f) and put into service with their own garrison units based in occupied France.

By the way: few years ago i drove through Ardennes in Belgium and i visited Bastogne.

Thanks to NilsZ help i managed to create a usable AND destroyable PAK 40 AT gun that i will use in my modified Prague 1 mission replacing the default field gun model on the hill. It has 2 seats - one of them is used as a gunner position. I always wanted to do this, since the instructor clearly mentioned in the video briefing that we need to destroy that cannon (which wasn't possible by default).

See pictures below.

Please download the pak40.rar archive and unpack its content (maps.mod and models.mod folders) into your main H&D Deluxe directory.

I am curious; one man is the gunner; what does the other do?

The second seat was needed in order to have the cannon work as intended - to be both usable and destroyable (like i.e. tanks).

Below i posted the modified data.dta archive that contains the new custom Mosin-Nagant sniper rifle on the inventory list.

I also attached the models.mod.rar and maps.mod.rar archives.

The custom Mosin-Nagant sniper rifle uses the same shooting sound as my non-scoped version that you once downloaded, so you already have shooting sound for it installed in the game. thup01
