And, now I am back.
Isn't 5000 enough to blow a tank?
Nevertheless, thank you. :grin:

And thank you again for putting in that little act of psychopathic entertainment, of forcing prisoners to run through a minefield that they themselves built. :twisted:
Sad that only two make it the mines.

Anyway, nice adding that extra MG in Danube 4.

As i said, those newly updated grenades won't be able to destroy heavy equipment (like tanks and armored railway cars).

The 5000 power value is related only to the "damage" delivered by hand grenade explosion to infantry (enemy and friendly - including player and his team).

Today morning i tried to record a walktrough video from my modified Italy 2 mission, but i wasn't able due to its unrealistically high difficulty level (i played this mission on hard). :-?

This is only a second mission in the H&D Deluxe so far, so it shouldn't be that hard in my opinion.

So, i decided to update the Italy 2 mission once again.

Beside already implemented changes i made few new ones:

- reaction time increased for some German soldiers - in order to avoid the "lightning speed reaction time" (even faster than a real human is able to react),

- the German soldier on the staircase inside the main refinery building armed now with Mauser K98 non-scoped rifle instead of MP40,

- objects collision optimized.

Please download and test this mission.

Any feedback will be appreciated!

LOL, my younger brother said the SAME thing! funny02 "It's too hard!"

I must admit though, it's very nice that you are testing the missions out yourself. Now I get to see your styles.

I see you favor lone-wolf style.

Unfortunately i must agree with your younger brother about the unrealistic difficulty level of my previous Italy 2 mission version. :roll:

Well, this was the 1st H&D Deluxe modified mission that i recorded so far and the easiest one to play in my opinion (Italy 1).

Some missions just cannot be completed with only one SAS commando.

I will try to record the newest Italy 2 mission version in a "near future" (hopefully still today).

EDIT: i just recorded and uploaded a walktrough video from my newest version of the Italy 2 mission: https://youtu.be/wVW9efWK4TE.

Any feedback will be appreciated! :grin:

P.S. Show this video to your younger brother, in order to encourage him to play my modified Italy 2 mission. The mission could be completed even on the hard difficulty - i proved it. thup01

I decided to make another update of the Italy 3 mission - before i record the gameplay and upload it on my Youtube channel.

Beside already implemented changes i made few new ones:

- reaction time increased for some German soldiers - in order to avoid the "lightning speed reaction time" (even faster than a real human is able to react),

- removed all the searchlights (there were problems with them),

- changed behavior of some German soldiers - now they will guard assigned areas,

- added "Potato masher" grenades to some German soldiers,

- objects static collisions optimized,

- more dense checkpoint grid to make the AI navigation easier,

- small bugs fixed.

Please download and test this mission.

Any feedback will be appreciated!

I would like to inform you Myron, that starting from Friday morning till Monday evening i will be busy, so i probably won't have time for H&D Deluxe modding. If you have any request for changes in the H&D Deluxe missions please post it before that period or after it. Thank you for your understanding.

I can imagine; I watch crash videos all the time, 99% of them happen in Eastern Europe.

- enemy soldiers patrol routes optimized;

- removed one enemy soldier, that was standing under the bridge (he was useless);

I decided to make another update of the Danube 5 mission - before i record the gameplay and upload it on my Youtube channel.

Beside already implemented changes i made few new ones:

- removed 6 German soldiers that are spawning behind the barn (the instructor didn't say anything about enemy attack from that side);

- All German soldiers armed now with Mauser K98 rifles (weapon better suited for long range combat);

- MG mounted on the enemy motorcycle rate of fire changed to single;

- increased "Endurance" value for both friendly partisans up to 100;

- increased "Shooting" value for all German infantrymen up to 100 (they are elite mountain rangers);

- removed crates with Panzerfaust from the barn (now You will have 2 crates with grenades, one with ZB26 and one with Bren);

- more dense checkpoint grid to make the AI navigation easier;

- objects static collision optimized;

- small bugs fixed.

Please download and test this mission.

GASP!
Why remove the rockets from the barn?!

Not only do I use them extensively in the first 3-4 Germany missions, I LOVED playing around with the little bug in Danube 5.

P.S. I thought it was 7 Germans attacking from the rear.

Those Panzerfausts won't be needed in that mission, because there is no enemy armored vehicles present - only a single unarmored motorcycle.

I assume, that those weapons crates placed inside barn were delivered by partisans - they have their own weapons shortage for sure (as they were forced to retreat from the bunker complex in previous mission).

All that is needed to complete the Danube 5 mission is few light machine-guns like ZB26 and Bren.

Moreover, the Panzerfaust was in use starting from 1943 year (so the H&D Deluxe developers added them too early to the game): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Panzerfaust. According to the mission description, the Danube 5 mission takes place in 07.09.1941 - long before the actual introduction of the Panzerfaust! So, the first campaign where we should encounter Panzerfausts need to be the third one (Germany 1943).

I checked in HDD editor, that 6 Germans were spawning behind the river and the barn.

Did I ever tell that I once fired all 8 rockets at the plane when I was little to see if it would blow up?

I'm still sad, because I love destroying the loft in Germany 1 with a rocket.
Like the first kill in this clip, I like to quickly open the door and fire a rocket.

Weird, as I've always been forced to guard the back, because of my bad accuracy, (75% shooting), and yet I could have sworn I killed 7. Ok then.

LOL. The instructor told us to use time-bombs to blow up the archives in the Abwehr headquarters. I never thought, that using a Panzerfaust would be a better idea. :roll:
