Did you know that in Greece 1, the civilians don't exist until the plunger gets pushed?
I know this because I once blew up the church myself with my own dynamite. And nobody was inside.

Greece 2
Those 2 men aren't a problem for the MG because it's already too dangerous to approach them from the road, we must attack them from the cliff.

Greece 3
Did you swap the winter Panther for the Summer one?
Did you think the booby-trap was all that was necessary in the underground, and that we didn't the extra badguy?

Greece 4
Why take away Kostakipulos's BAR? I thought he was a boss enemy, hence the big gun.

Is there anyway to open, or delete, the massive doors for the hydroplane?

Hello Myron,

Greece 3 - yes i swap the winter Panther for Summer camo version.

In my opinion, the booby-trap is enough for stopping us to reach the secret passage to the partisans base.


Greece 4

Pistols and revolvers were always a weapon of choice for officers and bad guys and Colt .45 is an impressive firearm. One of the best in his class.

If i remove the doors in the hydroplane base, you won't see the sea, because there is nothing behind them (ask H&D Deluxe developers why they did that).

I guess "boss badguys" don't exist in real life.

Also, we are supposed to fear that Kostakipolos would escape with the plane. How can that be, if the massive doors are closed?

Plus, I want to TAKE the plane, not destroy it. It's one thing I hate about this mission, having to destroy such an awesome plane.

First of all, he won't escape because of the steel armored doors to his "room", lol. He is actually trapped inside, waiting for someone to kill him.

As far as i know you cannot fly this plane. Maybe, just maybe, it could be animated like the Lancaster or Catalina in some H&D Deluxe missions, to take our SAS team from the hydroplane base. However, i have no idea how to do that, sorry.

The little bridge that tries to reach the plane. It has only one railing, very unsafe.

Aha, OK.

Well, in my opinion the H&D Deluxe singleplayer campaign deserves a better ending than the stock one. I like the ending from classic H&D 1 (flying away in Lancaster) and i don't like the "ending" of FFF expansion (lack of ending). Maybe we could think about making an appropriate ending, but i have no idea.

Well, FFF did have an ending; it was supposed to have the Tan-Greece-uniform SAS soldier smoking over a beach, with the regular British (or Greek) army marching below him, with American Army trucks!

With a little Iron Curtain speech, instead of Germany's surrender.

Yes of course. I know that. I mean the ending of the last mission of the FFF expansion - we kill Kostakipulos and that's all. No epic escape or anything like that.

I finally decided to actually play my modified H&D Deluxe missions. :grin:

However, during the play i found some small bugs that i managed to fix plus i made some small additional changes.


Italy 4

- removed part of the wooden fence that surrounds the farm, because one enemy soldier got stuck in it while patrolling the area (stupid AI);

- made a possibility to shoot through the wooden fence.


Danube 1

- 2 enemy snipers added;

- objects collision optimized;

- improved statistics of enemy snipers;

- few trees removed to give better view for the enemy snipers;

- all machine-guns rate of fire changed to single.


Please download those 2 improved missions.

You didn't give me a feedback about most of the modified missions from the Ardennes and Greece campaigns - you even didn't download them. :sad:
Maybe i should remove them from this forum, since you are not interested?
