Re: Now on Steam.
Wow, cool, thanks for letting us know, it didn't show up for me in new releases!
Re: Now on Steam.
Yea, but there is already a problem, mainly for those who want to play OnLine, both GOG and Steam version comes with the same CD-key for everyone who is buying the game, but server doesnt allow to connect if player with same CDkey is already connected.
They still need key-generator to be able to play online and Steam version resets the key when game started.
Reason is that they sell it as an SinglePlayer game.

We address the CD Key issue in the guide here: https://hidden-and-dangerous.net/articl ... ltiplayer/
Re: Now on Steam.
If anyone hasn't taken the steam 'plunge', now might be the time. HD £2.34 and HD2 £3.99 (50% off). I have the discs but Windows 10 has decided to no longer recognise my BDr drive FFS. So It's Steam time for me while I try and figure out my optical drive woes.

Don't get excited about any 'Bundle' discount. There is a bundle and normally there is a discount, but not with these, a whopping 0%.
Re: Now on Steam.
The Mafia Triple Pack is also HEAVILY discounted, lists an odd 72% discount but that may be because I own some of them already. All deals for the next 21(ish) hours only.
Re: Now on Steam.
I don't pretend to undertstand why people buy these things twice...or more than twice...but it's nice to see it somewhere I guess.
Re: Now on Steam.
The Steam version of H&D contains all 3 games; Vanilla, FFF, and Deluxe, and all 3 work on my brother's computer.
Re: Now on Steam.
What system has your brother? The original classic works on my win7 only with safe command line parameter. Maybe they fixed the engine for new systems :)
From the screenshots it seems to be the classic version while the video is showing deluxe version, what is correct?

I don't remember having to initiate any "safe command line parameter".
All I know is that the vanilla H&D game is now 1.3 instead of 1.0.
If you right-click on the game in your library, you have 3 options; the vanilla game, the FFF expansion, and the Deluxe remastered.
Re: Now on Steam.
Thanks for the info. I bought i also just to check it. The Engines of the classic parts seems to be adjusted to run on newer windows versions. It's nice that they give all 3 versions to play. I will check now for more differences and let you know.
Re: Now on Steam.
Hopefully, this will give modders the means of moving the vanilla music into the deluxe version, as well as facial variety. I miss the Greeks with this huge mustaches and Germans with red hair.
