importing max objects into editor

importing max objects into editor

hi! everyone this is my first posting
great site great game

I have max 3.1  it works fine i can import game objects no-problem but
when i try to import new objects
into insanity editor they don't appear(no textures applied)

can anyone help?

So if you export a new textured model from max to IS2 it will not load the textures. Have you copied the textures into the maps or maps.mod folder from hdd? and witch texture format did you use?

Hi! sorry, i'm  experimenting at moment.

i imported  a new model with No textures added.

i just wanted to see if max 3.1 and editor were working
properly together

thanks for replying please continue, do you think its because
of no textures.

If no textures are added to the new model it doesn´t matter.
Sadly the IS2 engine has some problems with some object settings... for example mirrored parts will be cut from the engine
