Could someone confirm that ONLY old versions of Winrar are able to make safety packages (add-ons)?
Before I finish my own I'm testing to open a downloaded add-on (eg.: Normandy by Grenni) and re-packed without any modification, but it didn't work!
What I did first is to change the .add extension for .rar, uncompress the Normandy.rar to obtain the 6 folders inside.
Delete the Normandy.rar.
Select the folders and create a new RAR file called Normandy.add without compression, but using WinRar 3.30 it doesn't work ...

I moved that Normandy.add to the data folder.
Start the game and select that Add-on but it didn't start:
if I didn't modify anything it seems that the trouble is Winrar ... Im right?

Allright, how to solve this issue?
It's not easy to find an old version of the program.
Could work with a new version?

Thx in advance

For me it works with 3.11 and not an newer version. You can try the german 3.11 version or the english 2.90 if that one will work http://www.winrar.de/html-ger/download/dl-winrar.htm

Thx Lars! version 2.9 english works ok (just in case, installed in other directory to not override the new version)
