"destination out of map!"

Unread post by Liandro » Thu Feb 23, 2012 4:19 am

Hi everyone, I'm new here. I can see that no one has posted in a while but I just thought I'd try to get your attention.

I've been downloading the addon packages from the site and after playing some of them I would like to try making some of my own. I did follow everything mentioned in Jason's tutorial and I managed to make my own trial addon. Only problem is that all my mission objectives come up like this: Image
This is what my addon.txt looks like: Image
The mission short name and description is displayed correctly, however. Anyone know a solution?

Hi there and welcome to the forums.

Did you put a blank line after the objectives? so at the end of the line with 150004 ... press enter for a new line.

Hi Jason, thanks for the reply.

I tried adding another line after objective 150004, but it's still the same. I also tried making another map, but this time only objective 1 is displayed properly: Image
The addon.txt file is just like the other, only there are 2 objectives.

Can you send me your addon files and I will take a look for you? You should be able to attach a file in a Private Message.

I found the solution. I had been entering the text id of my objectives into the Action - data string field instead of the data number field. Problem solved, but still thanks for the support.
