Another question... :D

Is it possible to change the textures on a map simply by replacing the textures it uses? I've tried doing that. I put the new textures in the /maps and /maps.mod folders, but it doesnt seem to work. Do I have to replace the files in the maps.dat?

So I'm now using the Bertgold editor to get the new textures to show up. However some textures arent loading because there isnt enough memory, it says. But it works fine in the HDD editor...??

The /maps folder should only work for the editor, not for the game. I guess that the maps have to be stored in the file you mention.
Bertgold-Editor? Did I miss something?! :?
Guess so... haven't even had time to play it yet

Yep, Bertgold comes with an editor.

I haven't played it either, I'm waiting for the English version.

I've fixed the problem. It seems the texture size was too big, so I simply reduced it.

So I was working on my map, and my computer crashed. Good thing I made a backup...or so I thought. Somehow, my backup was corrupted along with the original.

So I'll have to do a whole lot of model placement all over again...*sigh*

I'm trying to make a Normandy campaign using the Ardennes missions (thanks for the idea, Grenni), because they're the only large maps that dont feature huge cliffs and mountains.
