Compressed textures

Unread post by Grenni » Wed Jan 05, 2005 1:10 pm

I am having the finished landscape for the addon I am working on and calculated the lightmaps for it, which worked well.
Then I added some bunkers and trenches by merging the scene.max with temporary files where I created the bunkers by using just the relevant parts of the landscape. When merging max automatically reassigns the materials. Now when I want to create the lightmaps in the editor I get the warning, that compressed textures cannot be calculated :? . What has happened? Does anyone know how to "de-compress" the textures for the landscape or do I have to redo the insertion of the bunkers and trenches and choosing another option when I get the merging-dialog?

Yeah you just turn off compressed textures in the games setup

You can thank Lars for this info... he told me, as with a lot of things :?
