Spartan - Total Warrior

Has anyone tested\played this game yet?

For those who have not heard of it, yes it is console only game but a bloody well done too.

The game is very smooth, and the combat system does not have any bugs or problems, like if you swing the same time as enemy is about to hit you, it will end up as weapon clash etc.

Also, the game has lots of nice stuff to use, like the Swords of Athena has this nice lightning attack, and with Hammer of Beowulf, you can create huge shockwave which lifts anyone who gets caught in it up to 20 - 30 feet in air.

The game is also pretty difficult in some cases, and it is pretty hard to complete this game in less than 10h unless you know every trick, part etc out from your memory.

But main part, the game is fun to play. You may remember Asterix for the huge roman battles (in cartoons, of course) ? Ever wanted to have similiar situations? Now you can have such situations; In Spartan, some cases you can be surrounded by over 40 romans while you are alone, and in most cases, these are pretty challenging and also it is pretty fun to slaughter\slay over 5 - 10 romans with one Rage swing, and as mentioned above, the battles are smooth and also they have somewhat feeling of *realism*; you can imagine and feel the tense of battle in combat :)

Too bad that own teammates are in most cases, only made to take hits (but on other hand, this can be put as one reason for the game?s plot as in the end, player finds out the truth about his character)

Anyone who has played, please share your opinions.

Those who have not played, well now rush for the closest store to buy Xbox on cheap price and Spartan - Total Warrior with it :)
