Quake 4

Unread post by Jason » Tue Nov 15, 2005 9:59 am

Recent post on the site says I've been busy  which is true but we all need to relax so I chose to play Quake 4. I haven't played much of it but so far it has been pretty good. A little bland, not much interactivity but a good shooter game. Anyone else tried out this one?

I'll be testing out COD2 soon. When it gets installed

Not really intrested in Q4...

But CoD2 is what it is, its great in single player...

Keeps the battle moving, fast paced combat, like watching a movie...

In multiplayer, well...

I loved the UOs added multiplayer mode, "Base Destroy"...

But the acchowes made CoD2 a direct sequal to CoD and not CoD and CoDUO...

I beat Quake 4 the other day and I must say it isn't the most exciting game in the world. It is classic shoot'em up fun though. The lighting is pretty good. Some parts are scarey, the human mutalation went way too far I think for a game

Over all it was bland and too short

I tested Q4 some time ago at my brothers comp, and I have to say, I found Doom III more exciting. And as Jason mentioned, that human mutation thing went bit way to far.

It is somewhat fun to play but you get more fun from Diablo I than Q4, IMHO. Atleast in Diablo I you just need to whack everything that moves and find more enemies to whack and slash and kill and hack :P

Lol, Yeah I will definitely have to get Doom 3 and beat it. We have Half Life 2 but I just can not be bothered ATM. Plus I don't have that much time for games, if anything I should push myself back into H&D Deluxe     funny01
