Gee, now this game does sound so very original... you play an american who saves the world from the germans. No thanks.
It maybe alright, would have to see the in-game graphics. It's probably another budget game trying to take advantage of the WW2 genre.

The demo is out now - released on the PC Gamer (UK) DVD first then will follow online as a download. Actually its pretty damn fun to play and the sniping and AI on the higher difficulty settiings is very satisfying. Try the demo - you might even (shock, horror) have some FUN playing a game :)

I ordered this game the other day, should be with me any time now, released in UK on 30 Sept. Seen the and videos, but not the demo, looks good. Not sure about the graphics, but its out on Xbox too, and methinks the vid is from the Xbox version, so can expect a little less cartoony look on PC. I'll let you all know what I think..... Looks great as you get to kill Russians as well as krauts. All I need is a game where I can butcher Jocks now and I'm sorted. :D

OK, I've started playing, and believe me, this game is the business. The graphics are some of the best I've seen and capture the grim atmosphere of embattled Berlin like you wouldnt believe.
I've played the first two missions and am totally hooked. I won't spoil it for you with the story line, but you play an OSS officer in German uniform, so the Germans don't trouble you and you get on with the important business of exterminating communists.
You play to the backdrop of screaming civilians and Katyusha stalin organ salvoes, crawl past determined looking Waffen SS grenadiers waiting in ruined buildings for the next T34 to appear, make your way past sentinel Tigers sitting menacingly in the middle of the road surrounded by knocked out red armour...fuck, this game is the bollox!!!
The action itself is top notch, good shots are rewarded by following the bullets as they enter the illiterate brain of the communist peasant as you despatch him to the workers paradise in the sky...one less German woman raped :D

Only gripe I got sofar is about most of the weapon models...
As with HD2, they are terrible...
