I would like to share a link detailing all the modern guns in the free distribution of Söldner Secret Wars.
There you may view all the individual models which are selectable to use. Click on each item to further
examine its characteristics. The game itself can also be downloaded here.
http://soldnersecretwars.de/main.php?page=sws&lang=en
There is also this page listing a total conversion available for it entitled Operation Overload (released in 2007) that includes:
* 32 airplanes (Stuka, Spitfire ..)
* 26 ships (Bismark, Prinz of Wales ..)
* 33 tank/vehicles (Tiger, Panther, Hetzer, Sherman..)
* 30 light and heavy weapons (stgw44, fg42, luger, mp44, bazooka, panzerfaust..)
* 43 converted/new maps
* 8 bombs/rockets (v1..)
* 8 base defense weapons (flak88, pak..)
* new Textures/Sounds
* new Gameplay/Features (Allied vs Axis..)
OO is compatible to ALL ssw versions (from 28054 up to 33675)

Wonder if it may contain weapons or vehicles that might be made usable within the insanity engine
and whether any of this games assets can possibly be adapted from .x model into .i3d format.
I do currently have this game installed and soldner 1-5 pak files extracted on another pc which
does not yet possess all the necessary software required for me to conduct any appropriate
experiments myself. First I would need to shuffle some files around.
(Upon closer inspection it seems my games version, SSW Community Edition v33940 is not supported)
I may attempt to locate the appropriate package, "back-date" my install and get it working to
properly view this conversions data files.
I just find it fun to imagine all this mods equipment being usable to us in our game world.
