Re: Minecraft
I have considered getting it, but I know no one who plays it, therefore I would probably not play it for very long. It seems to be a game that requires cooperative play in order to remain fun.

Re: Minecraft
You can definitely play it alone and still have fun, there are apparently a lot of public servers around. It's an odd game, you create your own fun which is probably why it's so popular with kids and creative types. It's definitely fun to explore the random, endless worlds. Definitely a casual game.

How long have you played Minecraft? Have you played Ace of Spades?

Re: Minecraft
Well I purchased the game last year in April, so whatever pre-release was around then and since. There has been a lot of changes, not all good IMO. I think the terrain generation at the moment is rather shite - doesn't seem to make as interesting terrain. Plus there is still no point to the game which annoys me, not much of visual creative type so I prefer exploration than building stuff.
I've seen Ace of Spades but haven't tried it out.
