Mount and Blade: With Fire and Sword.
I do not have to play it to know it is garbage based on the screen shots. They say a lot more than you can gather from them.

¿So what was your take? I played the M&B and Warband demos. The concept was unique if anything.-ViTaMiHnM203- wrote:Mount and Blade: With Fire and Sword.

Re: Enemy Front
It was what I expected, having played the previous games.

Judging a book by it's cover, your loss with that attitude.-ViTaMiHnM203- wrote:I do not have to play it to know it is garbage based on the screen shots.

¿So does that mean you felt it was good, bad, so-so?-ViTaMiHnM203- wrote:It was what I expected, having played the previous games.

Re: Enemy Front
I think you are completely off, isn't that what you did with Mount and Blade? You don't know what points lead me to my conclusion, which is rightfully so, and I have not bothered to say. Playing it would be the loss. If they decide to change things, sure I'll give it another look.Jason wrote:Judging a book by it's cover, your loss with that attitude.
Well, from what I have said about the game before, I think it is great. Everyone should give it a try, but no one does. There are downsides, but with all the modding you can do they can be corrected. As for the WFaS changes, I don't like the pushed story, as in Warband, but the rest of the game has been substantially changed creating a different atmosphere that keeps it fresh.Duke0196 wrote:¿So does that mean you felt it was good, bad, so-so?
Re: Enemy Front
Thanks for the feedback. I'm downloading the WFaS demo to check it out.

Here is a first look gameplay video of Enemy Front: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=pl ... uQ4#t=620s
Apparently the game draws from old War movies such as Where Eagles Dare, which definitely caught my attention. So I'm a bit more interested in this one now, actually sounds like it will be rather different to other WW2 FPS games - let's hope so!

Re: Enemy Front
I watched some gameplay of this and it did not look fun at all. I prefer the more realistic style games, not ones like Brother in Arms Furious 4. I can understand being a sniper and taking many guys out, but running around with a sub machine gun taking out loads of people alone does not interest me (I know you are with others, but probably just working with them not them actually beside you). This game reminds me strongly of the terrible Hour of Victory. I will keep an eye out, but I don't have high hopes for it.

That's a horrible thing to say that game was awful but I don't think Enemy Front will be anything like that! nothing can be that horrible!Whitehead221 wrote:This game reminds me strongly of the terrible Hour of Victory.

Re: Enemy Front
LOL I think you are probably right. It is actually a challenge to make a game that is as bad as Hour of Victory. Still the concept reminds me of Enemy Front.Jason wrote:That's a horrible thing to say that game was awful but I don't think Enemy Front will be anything like that! nothing can be that horrible!Whitehead221 wrote:This game reminds me strongly of the terrible Hour of Victory.
