Sniper: Art of Victory

Unread post by Jason » Sat Oct 22, 2011 6:09 pm

I have a sweet spot for cheap budget games it's true but I do have limits and admit that most budget games are indeed crap but most have at least something good about them. Sadly this is not true about Sniper: Art of Victory. I picked it up from Green Man Gaming because I recently played Sniper: Ghost Warrior and I am a fan of City Interactive's WW2 selection. Althought Sniper: Ghost Warrior is an awesome game, Art of Victory is not. It has primative Sniper mechanics very similiar to Ghost Warrior but they aren't as fun. The AI is rarely a challenge, the models and textures are reused from Battlestrike Force of Resistance. The Chrome 2 engine is horrible. Don't buy this one, trust me , don't play it at all.

I would have screenshots but when I uninstalled it, it deleted the entire folder before I grabbed the screenshots

Thanks for the heads-up Jason.

If anyone is interested, both Gamespot and IGN rate it 2 out of 5 stars. You can see screenshots here.

The guy who loaded this gameplay video called it "Gaming badness at its finest." I don't know if he was pro or con SAOV.
