wohoo! this sure looks like a game! oboy!
so much to say about it...
the story, the idea of the game, the gameplay... i think this is a gamer worth getting!

it looks good, but they (ubi) have ruined the Rainbow 6 series of games.
their last patch stopped people modding it.

consequently i will tread carefully with this game

how long will it take for the god damn french company to learn that console games very rarely work on the pc!!!!!!!

cause the story and everything seems so bloody great!

i like the game except for a few things:

you can have 2 weapons. this sucks! you can, for example, carry one thompson and one garand and you are fit to fight on any range.

the enemies have huge "plates" over their heads showing their level of suppression and letting you see exacly where the enemy are.

I am afraid it will turn out to be just a new call of duty (unrealistic and easy). :(

as they say in the newest video: you can offcourse turn this off!

and the carry2 guns ... i TOTALLY agree! on call of duty i usually pretend i only have like one of them, like the garand. so if i run out of ammo, i weill just have to ue my colt, wich bring up my second subject!!!
is the 1911 available? i just love the 1911, cant live without it!
so if i could swap like the thompson for the 1911? well that would be ok for me, since that would make sure i only had one prim. and one secondary weapon!

I do the exact same thing, i HATE when a game says its so realistic and then they give you 2 friggin primary weapons! I mean, what soldier would run around with 1 BAR (with 10 mags), 1 Springfield (with some ammo too), 1 colt 1911 (with 4 mags), 4 grenades and a knife while killing all 100 Enemies in a fortified base?

It's ok when its handeled the Hidden and Dangerous style, that feels more realistic and it's ok if the game is not supposed to be realistic (Quake 3 for example) but Call of Duty and Medal of Honour were major disappointments.

It worked for me, it looks pretty impressive. I watched the in-game footage: ftp://ftp.ubi.com/emea/sh3/videos/SH3_E3DemoClip1.zip. Not sure about the torpedo firing system, it seems to be able to fire torpedoes at all angles without turning the U boat. And the Chief Engineer has an american voice. :?

I guess you can change the voice if you prefer that
but whatyou saw was probaly the arcadish mode of the game you wil have more prob getting correct bow angle in expert mode en there you wil not have the nice camara viw to your disposal.
there is even manual target data computer etc etc
can wait to get my hands on it

How can u say call of duty is crap, i agree the mag count is 2 high but i was impressed with it. I thought it was a great ww2 game. medal of honor was a complete wast of my money.
