Not sure if anyone knows this game is on the horizon but it's "IMHO" going to be great.  I've been playing RO OF for years and this sequel looks promising.  You will even get to play the German side in single player.  Since there is no sign of HD3 in the near future this game will keep me busy.  Anyways checkout the demo they showed at Gamescom 2010.

So it seems the game finally has a singleplayer mode? Briefly looking at the video it seems to be similiar in gameplay to Call of Duty, is that some what correct?

The gameplay in the begining of the video they showed is an alpha version with a bunch of bots running and gunning which Red Orchestra is anything but.  If you watch the entire video and the 2nd part it shows more strategic aspects of the game.  They have a new feature for sniper scopes where you can compensate for bullet drop - pretty neat.
