6 pics one dam scene
6 pics one dam scene
picture of a scene created long ago.
I didn't make it and I don't know which tools were used to do so.
just an empty i3d scene, without any textures.

Re: 6 pics one dam scene
designed to function as more of a technical demonstration rather than a playable map.
it may serve no purpose other than to show an example of adapting assets for use with insanity.
may those already familiar with the possibility, kindly inform others who are eager to understand further.

Isn't that a dam taken from a Call of Duty 1 mission?
Those vehicles look somewhat familiar...

Looks like bertgold. I know the dam scene, it was offered for Download together with cs_italy. But both Without textures.

Re: 6 pics one dam scene
Yes they are Bertgold models shown in carpark. There we have opeltruck and kubel_zima
I've been using that editor in order to become better acquainted with various model names and textures
I had a question about an archive created during its install process, but was unsure of where to ask it.
Thought this example might already be known to some. For others these may be items unseen previously.
Alright good then to be thorough let's introduce the village here as well Okay since you are familiar with both of those, I should probably make my inquiry right about now,
When looking over the folders, besides the included maps there appears an archive labeled "addon"
which I only recently extracted into the missions folder. Being a curious person I then loaded it in the editor
for experimentation purposes, unsure of what it might contain.Turns out it exists of a fair-sized airstrip which
has been given ambient sounds of gunfire and explosions. It is comprised of 2 parallel runways surrounded
by various hangers, shelters and multiple buildings, including a few AA emplacements within an otherwise
empty level which is free of any entities besides a single actor/player.There is one aircraft model
(stuka_bomb) that intermittently overflys the unpopulated field executing his bomb run

From what I see there I can't help but hope all of which would possibly be useful in the creation of some
style of level, map, addon or mission environment by someone who might be ambitious enough and
challenged by the prospect of taking off on a project. If nothing else it may act as a kind of
"blank canvas" still just waiting for the mission objectives to be designed and implemented. I wonder if anyone is in any way familiar with it at all. It may be that others have not taken notice or ever
actually manually unpacked it themselves. Users of the data file from Bertgold for HDD1.5 should have all
the material required for the map to load completely free of errors regarding missing directories or files.
Once these conditions are met, we can then see the nice model of an AB41 load when called up My proficiency with the program is currently limited in terms of preparing scenes for consumption.
However slow and steady improvements are made each new day. Suppose I just really enjoy the
excitement felt when encountering new opportunities for discovery. So thanks for indulging me and looking
this over. Including scene and scene.bin here for those who might have previously overlooked it, as I had done.
File is offered below with the sincere wish that someone may find an interest one day.

Wasn't Liptakov a location from one of the missions in H&D2? Isn't that the AB41 model imported from Medal of Honor Breaktrough? I am using similar one in my H&D Deluxe Ultimate Mod.

Bertgold contains extreme many Models from medal of honor. The bike that you converted ist there as well. The most weapon models are also from moh.

I knew that i saw the truck model before.
However, how did they managed to import models from H&D 2 into Bertgold? I mean the Liptakov train station.

I don't know if it is the exact HD2 scene. It may be possible that unclevadim just took the textures from HD2.p.jakub88 wrote: ↑Fri May 01, 2020 5:05 pmI knew that i saw the truck model before.

Wasn't there also a importer for 4ds files?
Anyway the HD2 tutorial is also as i3d in the game files

Well, there is a 4ds file viewer for the Mafia game, but i never used it.
I found it on Mod DB: https://www.moddb.com/games/mafia/downl ... s-unlocker
I don't know if the program has also an export feature.
Anyway it would be cool to be able to import H&D 2 models into H&D Deluxe.

Re: 6 pics one dam scene
Its not the HD2 scene. It's a modified prague2 map with bertgold textures and ripped houses from HD2.
was it made by you, KiloEcho?
