Wow... you were able to find people to play H&D2 with? I thought that game's MP was dead.

But thank you kindly for making the King Tiger, as King Tiger. :)

Well, there are still few H&D2 servers active including at least one set in USA. I am joining =RpR= Clan servers most of the time.

The King Tiger tank was named differently across the time. I simply choose the tank title that was used in Medal of Honor: Allied Assault. In addition i like that name.

OK Myron. I actually replaced the Panzerfausts used by Germans in the H&D Deluxe Ardenes campaign with my custom Panzerschrecks. I posted the idea first on the "H&D Deluxe, the ultimate mod: Guns forum" thread.

Implemented changes beside the mentioned above:

-> Ardenes 1 - repositioned one of the German soldiers with anti-tank weapon to a more suitable place, where he would less likely to blow up himself or shot at the metal fence which looked kinda stupid;

-> Ardenes 3 - added few German soldiers armed with Panzerschrecks to the warehouse area.

OK Myron.

I implemented some new changes into the Prague 1 mission since the last update:

-> German soldier that was previously using Panzerfaust now uses Panzerschreck instead;

-> added 2 German soldiers armed with Panzerschreck to some "ambush locations";

Still work in progress.

Planned changes:

-> to remove some obstacles from the Prague 1 streets to give the German defenders a better view and to decrease the danger for the enemy Panzerschreck users to accidentally blow themself off while firing;

-> to adjust and add more collisions to the custom T-34 tank model imported from Medal of Honor: Spearhead.

So, i implemented all the changes listed in my previous post to the Prague 1 mission.

Unpack the models.mod.rar archive to your main H&D Deluxe directory and replace the previous T-34 tank model when asked.

Here is the list of changes that i implemented so far regarding the custom Panther tank CoD: WaW model:

-> replaced the default Winter Panther models in the Ardenes 1 and Ardenes 2 mission with the custom one;

-> replaced the default Summer Panther model in the Greece 3 mission with the custom one;

-> replaced the default Summer Panther models in the Germany 5 mission with the custom one;

Planned changes:

-> to update the Greece 3 video briefing to reflect the change in the look of the Panther model.

OK Myron. So, i updated the Greece 3 mission video briefing as planned.

Please download and unpack the models.mod.rar archive containing the custom Summer Panther model used in that briefing.

I will upload rest of the files, after i make more tests of the custom Panther model in game. Then i will update my H&D Deluxe Ultimate Mod too.

I was suprised at first to see how well the vehicles models from Call of Duty World at War fits into H&D Deluxe. Some time ago i added a custom Sherman tank model from CoD:WaW into one of my addons.

Beside the custom Panther tank models that i uploaded today to the "H&D Deluxe, the ultimate mod: Vehicles" forum thread, below i uploaded also all the missions in which the custom Panther model is used plus others where i needed to adjust the movement of tracks on tanks.

List of updated H&D Deluxe missions:

-> Ardenes 1, Ardenes 2 and Ardenes 3

-> Germany 5 and Germany 6

-> Greece 3

It looks like i somehow made a mistake in the Ardenes 2 mission regarding the custom Winter King Tiger tank - it had wrong settings related to shooting (too low cannon shell power, wrong reloading time, etc). I apologize for that. I updated the Ardenes 2 mission again - please download it.

Following the feedback received from NilsZ i updated the Danube 3 mission.

I opened the scene in 3ds Max and edited the static collisions of the iron lock visuals. Then i removed the collisions added by H&D Deluxe developers by default (the non-static ones on the undamaged iron lock). The iron lock as a whole has also the default ID 7 resistance to damage.

Please test the updated mission and inform me if the iron lock is still that hard too destroy. Now it should be possible to destroy the lock with Panzer IV tank shots - you would probably need at least one direct hit i suppose. If there are still problems to destroy the lock i will simply change its resistance to damage to ID 2 (similar to ID 6, but there is no additional explosion effect).

Below i uploaded the updated Danube 3 mission together with the fixes (including missing Panzer IV texture and breathing animation).

Unpack the content of the Danube3 fixes.rar archive (data and maps.mod) to your root H&D Deluxe directory and replace the files when asked. Remove also the anims folder (previously unpacked anims.dta archive) from your root H&D Deluxe directory. All the needed animations files should be inside my updated anims.dta archive being inside the RAR archive attached below.

Meanwhile i will focus on improving the collisions on the custom Panzer IV tank used in the Danube 3 mission. I found out, that in general the custom Panzer IV tank collisions are problematic - it is related to both Summer and Winter version unfortunately. Give me some more time to fix that, it will require more work in 3ds Max than fixing the existing noticeable bugs in the Danube 3 mission regarding the iron lock gate visual. I just copied the collisions from the default Panzer IV model into the custom one and now i see that it was a mistake. I apologize for that.

Holy crap!!
I just found a VERY strange anomaly!

Tell me, when a German runs out of ammo, does he become a civilian?

I was fooling around in Germany 5, making donuts with my halftrack, running everyone over, and the sniper on the hill shooting at me.

The panzer IV chasing me shows up, I dodge him, and he parks his tank. By that time, the sniper was out of ammo, and he started running over to me. The panzer turned it's cannon to face and blew him.
