Things I pass through: stone walls, wood walls, wooden buildings, shelves (the ones next to the assembly tables), and the orange crates that are supposedly on the train.

Things that I CAN'T pass through: the ground, even off map; static objects, like the locomotive and the first two cars and their white boxes; the assembly tables, the pillars, wooden crates of all sizes, the generators.

Things that are invisible/transparent: The rocket, the rail-cars carrying the orange crates, the ramp, (now it's invisible).

P.S., the lights shine through the stone walls, though blurred.

It looks for me like a problem with some models. I will look again into the Germany 3 mission when i find some free time.

So i edited the Germany 3 mission again - hopefully the last time...

I edited also the loading ramp and wooden shelf models (the ones located near the assembly tables).

I deleted and placed again on the map the problematic wagons with "exploding boxes" and the V-2 rocket model on the flat wagon.

I just don't get it.

I merge the files, just like I have to... I "move and replace" just like I always do.... what am I doing wrong?! AARRR!!!

Ehh. There is no need to replace any models. Just add 2 new ones to the models.mod folder located in your game directory (i only edited 2 existing models and i gave them new names).

Don't forget of course about placing my newest Germany 3 mission update in the right place!

Ah ha! I found the problem, one stupid folder refused to unpack and merge, and thus was entered in as merely "another folder".

The mission works!

Finally! It took me few days to actually implement and test all the changes that i have made in the Germany 3 mission. I was starting to lose hope, that the Germany 3 mission will ever work on your PC. It would be easier and less problematic if you had H&D Deluxe installed outside the protected Program Files folder as i once told you.

So now i will look again into the Germany 4 mission.

Changes that i implemented in the Germany 4 mission so far:

-> endurance skill of all enemies set to 50%;

-> optimized static collision volumes of various objects (including metal fence);

-> replaced the previous halftrack model with the one used in the Danube 3 mission with optimized collision volumes;

-> removed all Panzerfausts that were placed at the car park (you could still obtain 4 Panzerfausts from the wooden box placed in the Steiner's office in the Germany 3 mission).

You should leave 1 panzerfaust there, just in case a foolish player either left the others behind, or wasted them all. Though in a box, not outside and exposed.

Further changes that i have implemented into the Germany 4 mission:

-> added a gray box at the car park (near the barracks mentioned in the mission briefing) that contains one Panzerfaust to deal with the Tiger on the other side of the bridge that leads to the mission extraction point;

-> i replaced 3 enemy soldiers that spawn at the car park barracks with 3 mountain-ranger soldiers armed with MP-44 (just like seen on the Germany 4 mission picture);

-> edited video briefing - replaced default halftrack model with the type used in the Danube 3 mission (see attached picture).


Please download and test my newest Germany 4 mission update attached below. Don't forget also about the models.mod.rar archive! Please give me later some feedback!

OK Myron. As you requested i locked again all small gates in the labor camp - the key to unlock them is in possesssion of one of the guards (see attached picture).

Below i uploaded an updated Germany 4 mission.

So now i will look again into the Germany 5 mission.

Changes that i implemented in the Germany 5 mission so far:

-> endurance skill of all enemies set to 50%;

-> optimized static collision volumes of various objects;

-> previous halftrack model used by the player to escape replaced with the model used for the first time in the Danube 3 mission;

-> halftrack model at the military camp replaced with the model used for the first time in the Danube 3 mission;

-> changed behavior of enemy soldiers: some of them will guard assigned areas, while others will pursue the player when they spot him;

-> changed statistics of enemy soldiers armed with MP-40 / Panzerfaust. I decreased their accuracy, because earlier it was too high. They will also open fire from shorter distances than before;

-> video briefing edited. Default (odd looking) halftrack model replaced with a model used in the Germany 4 mission video briefing. I also added missing sky and clouds. See picture below; :cool:

-> replaced 2 enemy snipers with edited mountain ranger models. Their green uniforms blends in better with the surroundings (see pictures below).

Further changes that i have implemented into the Germany 5 mission:

-> fixed the problem with the new mountain ranger model (snipers) not present in the mission;

-> the platoon of Tiger tanks from the military camp replaced with a platoon of Panther tanks. Some of the Panthers could be used by the player. See picture below;

-> edited the default Panther tank summer camo model - restored the German markings using Paint (black crosses), removed by the communist partisans in the Greece 3 mission. :cool:
