P.S. In Italy 1, there is no point in adding a boat-pilot, because the boat has no gas in it, and because it's indestructible, you've given me an enemy who can't be killed.

The un-destroyable patrol boat is a bug, that i am not able to fix.

I added a patrol boat driver, to prevent the player (MYRON) to use the patrol boat to cross the river instead of using the bridge, because it has 5 liters of fuel. The same amount as in the Danube 3 mission. In Danube 2 mission you have 25 liters of fuel.

What I am trying to say is, the "sensor", that marks the mission complete for Danube 2 should be moved back where it was originally.
"We conclude the mission by leaving down the river towards the Rumanian border."

So, i thought it would be a better idea to actually reach the bridge to complete the mission.

One last question, the boat's speed, isn't it painfully slow? (and unrealistic?)

Well, maybe yes, maybe no. I really don't know.

However, as i wrote earlier this is not a destroyer.
Well, I just reread the old manual, it says the maximal speed is 15kmh/9.3mph.

Still, the real boat would be the E-Boat*, which has a speed of 43.5 knots (80.6 km/h; 50.1 mph) , a very fast SOB, for a small boat. The commandoes even steal one in The Guns of Navarone.

We do, because the boat is so fast, (in the classical game) that we manage to reach the bridge by the time the "congratulations music" ends, with the mission.

I LOVE the Danube 3 changes.

I see it this way; if you are fast and efficient, you face no threats, but if you are delayed, a harder, but not unwinnable, fight is on your hands, just like the instructions predict.

EXCELLENT JOB!! Whoohoo!

Well, i found a E-boat model on www.cadnav.com, but i don't know if it could be used in H&D Deluxe. In addition i don't know how to make it usable, since this is only a stationary model (without destroyable version and seats assigned). It also didn't has any usable armament.

I am glad to hear that!

You could board a halftrack close to the pier and that will give you some protection against enemy fire (you must kill the halftrack MG operator first, lol).

I know; I am not asking for a new model, just asking that you increase the speed of the existing boat by a bit.

Also, the E-boat link proves that a boat doesn't have to be a ship (like a destroyer) to be fast. nods01

It's a bit harder since grenades can't hurt him.
Thankfully, I lugged my bazooka from the previous mission around with me.

The tank needs a little more ammo.
Too bad my bazooka can't hurt the second coal-barge. The first one can be destroyed by the tank.

OK, beside already implemented changes i changed the patrol boat settings in Danube 2 and Danube 3 mission. It should be faster now.

The instructor said that the tank need to be used to destroy only the lock, nothing else...

The second barge is only a non-destroyable model. I mentioned this before...

Did you test the patrol boat from my recently updated Danube 2 and Danube 3 missions?

The patrol boat is now faster than the stock H&D Deluxe one, just as you wanted it to be.

I hope, that now the patrol boat "slow speed case" is closed...

Hi,

So isn't there a google drive/.rar or something where the already upgraded maps are available in one place?
