I finished the work on the edited landing craft model which i added to my modified Poland 2 mission (see picture below).

There are also other changes applied to the mission itself:

-> delayed the spawning of enemies - each wave by few seconds - to give the player more time to prepare defense;

-> now the allied agent is boarding the edited landing craft as a "driver";

-> now enemies with Panzerfausts can properly attack the landing craft;

-> to occupy the gunner position on the landing craft approach it from the lowered ramp (near the spot where the red X symbol is marked during Poland 2 mission video briefing);

-> various bugs fixed and optimized scripts.

Unpack the content of the Poland 2 mission update RAR archive into your root H&D Deluxe install directory (i.e. C:\Program Files\Take2\Hidden and Dangerous Deluxe). Replace files when asked.

Thanks Myron! Long time not seen, i was curious when you shows up again on H&D forums. I knew that a custom vehicle will probably draw your attention. ;)

Anyway, i actually wanted to improve the default landing craft model for quite a while and i thought of adding a mounted MG to it. I remember in Medal of Honor Pacific Assault that we could use MG installed on landing craft in Tarawa level against Japanese and that was intense and cool. "Conlin! Mount that 50!" :mrgreen:

I've managed to talk my little brother into playing 2.4 in the name of testing, and so far, his feedback is, "add more bots". Especially in Germany 5 and both Prague missions. 😏

Personally, I think you should check out the Call of Duty 2; I think the German vehicles might interest you. 🤔
And strangely, Cod2 looks BETTER than CoD: WaW despite being older. 🤔

And I was thinking that since vanilla Panthers were replaced by ones from Waw, maybe the King Tiger can also be upgraded from MoH to WaW. Especially since MoH's destroyed model for King Tiger looks like a huge bomb fell from the sky on it. 😁

P.S. Bad News, 2.4 doesn't have the fix that allows players to host a network game. 😞

P.P.S. How do I get rid of the Danube 1 cinematic from Danube 5 again?

I should clarify, when I say that I think the T-34/85 from WaW would fit in this game nicely, I mean that in addition to the T-34/76 from Spearhead. I don't mean for one to replace the other. I think having both would be cool. 😎

Today i updated the Ardenes 1 mission.

List of changes:

-> placed a driveable pontoon near a wooden pier on the right riverbank that allows the player to blow the bridge and return safely from the other side of the river back to the left riverbank (see picture below);

-> updated the driver seat position, so now he faces the front when driving the pontoon which makes it easier to navigate.

Unpack the content of the Ardenes 1 update RAR archive into your root H&D Deluxe install directory. Replace files when asked to.

I made a fix that allow to blow up King Tiger tank in my mod by hitting it also from the rear, because previously that was almost impossible to do with anti-tank rocket weapons for some reason. I slightly increased the PIAT / Panzerfaust / Panzerschreck explosion range from 15 to 20 meters. Now King Tiger tank is vulnerable from all sides to hits from those weapons.

Yeah. Me too but in Far Cry 1 instead (that was a hell of an FPS game, good times). By the way I added my driveable pontoon also to one of my ModDB addons that i uploaded recently (Force 10 from Navarone). Its a modified Italy 1 map and now you could cross the river not only through railway bridge. :cool:

I remember Far Cry 1 mainly from how hard the Easy Mode was. I felt like I was always hunting for the next health-pack. Sadly, the first FC game was also the ONLY one where the title makes sense. The title is explained by the name of the Mad Scientist's quest; Project Far Cry.

I improved the look of the custom Italian tank model used in my modified Italy 3 mission. Now the tank's wheels are not square and i also updated the tank's main body by removing 2 wrongly textured spare wheels on its back.

See comparison pictures below.

Look at comparison pictures above :roll:

That is how the italian model looked originally when I downloaded it. Later i learned how to improve its look.

It suddenly dawned on me; the MoH: Breakthrough game has British Churchill tanks. I remember the manual talks about them, and I remember finding a destroyed one in Monte Casino.
