Would you like me to replace the previous PZ IV tank model used in H&D Deluxe with the re-textured one from Medal of Honor: Allied Assault?
Could you show a side-by-side comparison? :)
Yes. See picture below.

I also found a Panzer IV winter camo version from Medal of Honor: Spearhead.

See picture below.

Maybe i could add it to the Ardenes campaign?

Yeah, now that I see them side-by-side, truly, it is no contest.

I can see both the Desert and the Forest camo in Germany 5. One for the forest, and one on the beach.

And yes, of course; the snowy Panzer from Spearhead was already in the Ardennes, no? wink01

OK. So i replaced the previous Panzer IV tank models in the Danube 3, Germany 5 and Germany 6 missions with the new one taken from Medal of Honor: Allied Assault.

Unpack the attached *.rar archives into your main (root) H&D Deluxe directory. Replace files when asked.

I will think also about adding a Panzer IV with winter camo to the Ardenes campaign.

I also added the Panzer IV winter camo model from Medal of Honor: Spearhead into the Ardenes 2 and Ardenes 3 missions.

Unpack the *.rar archives into your main (root) H&D Deluxe directory.

In the Ardenes 2 mission the wreck of a Panzer IV tank placed near the main road was replaced by a Panzer IV wreck with winter camo (it looks way better now). See picture below.

In the Ardenes 3 mission one of the spawning Panther tanks was replaced by a Panzer IV with winter camo.

I didn't have time to test the changes in-game yet, so it is up to you. I only tested them in the editor.

I replaced also the second spawning Panther tank in the Ardenes 3 mission with the Panzer IV tank taken from Medal of Honor: Spearhead.

So, you will have 2 Panzer IV tanks with winter camo in total.

They fit really well into the scenario - having also a movable tracks which looks cool.

It is a pity, that the game developers didn't add more Panzer IV tanks in the H&D Deluxe campaigns, since this type of tank was the core of German Panzer divisions in WW2.

I am currently working on a King Tiger tank imported from Medal of Honor: Allied Assault.

I ran a quick test today in editor, by replacing the "chasing" Tiger tank in the Germany 5 mission with the new Panzer IV model from Medal of Honor: Allied Assault.

Much to my surprise, the PZ IV had no problems with pathfinding and even with a moderate speed could reach its destination without colliding with tress or terrain.

See picture below.

Looks like there is something wrong with the default Tiger tank model.

OK. So i made the King Tiger tank model from Medal of Honor: Allied Assault usable in H&D Deluxe.

See pictures below.

I made it more resistant to damage than the other tanks in game - you will need 3 bazooka shots to blow it up. I think, that this is quite realistic considering the fact of how well the King Tiger is armored.

Grenni told me some years ago that the problem is the height of the engine dummy. Sometimes it happens that the tank can't pass the checkpoint and after that it tries to head directly to the last checkpoint instead of following the line.

So, there should be a workaround of this problem. Either re-sizing the engine dummy or just link the Tiger's visuals to i.e. Panzer IV tank - which don't have the pathfinding problems in the Germany 5 mission.

I still think the desert-camo PzIV belongs on the beach, with the green one hiding in the forest down the road.

Also, when you say there is a problem with the Tiger I, do you mean the overall model, or specifically the one chasing you in Germany 5?

P.S. Ah ha! So tank resistance can be increased. That is good. The Tiger I should take at least two shots, as the PzIV can be taken out with one.

I mean the overall model. NilsZ said that one of the Tiger model parts are working wrong, so it sometimes get stuck on the way to destination.

I increased the Tiger resistance to damage, so you will need now 2 bazooka shots to destroy it. Unfortunately, there is an unwanted side effect - the Tiger could now withstand one anti-tank mine hit. However, except the Germany 5 mission you don't have any other opportunity to use anti-tank mines against Tiger tank anyway.

Fair enough about the mines.

One also has to take into account armor rarities.
