I tested anti-tank weapons against more resistant tanks (like Tigers) and i found out that the PIAT is too powerful compared to other AT weapons in H&D Deluxe.

Now it is as strong as Bazooka / Panzerfaust / Panzerschreck.

Unpack the PIAT.rar archive to your main (root) H&D Deluxe directory.

The only visible difference is, that to shot PIAT you will need now to be in crouching position. See picture below.

I cannot use lying position, because for some unknown reason the PIAT refused to shot.

I think, that shooting PIAT in crouching position looks somewhat realistic - because you need some shoulder support for PIAT's butt.

I also fixed the bug with PIAT round not exploding upon contact with a non-exploding object / surface. Not it works like a standard infantry AT weapon.

OK Jakub, now you challenged me :D

I made a new lens from scratch inspired by your one.
First i scaled the texture up to 512x512. Then i cut around a new circle that is more sharp. After that i drew the lines again from the cross to make them also sharper.
Now i remodeled the default sniper aim model: I detached the center part from the rest around and left the old texture on the rest. I just linked the rest model to the center. In the next step i used optimize to reduce the faces on the object.
Then i made a blank black texture, and a alpha texture for transparency. both applied to the object and voila.
I will now convert also the other iron sights and send them to you.

I thought that was the was supposed to be with all AT weapons; you can't fire them laying down. Or did you mean the PIAT can't be used standing?

No. I mean that i wanted the PIAT to be also used in laying position, since that how they also used it historically. See pictures below.

Unfortunately, as i wrote before - for some unknown reason it won't fire in game in that stance.

Anyway, they also used it in crouching position having the PIAT's butt held against shoulder.

I didn't find any picture, that shows using the PIAT in standing position.

After further research i made the custom Mauser K98 / Mosin-Nagant and Lee-Enfield snipers scope reticles thinner to make more realistic.

Hmm, what do you think about the Enfield's scope in H&D2?

And shall the Springfield rifle be added next? ;)

Well, the Enfield scope from H&D 2 it is not that bad. See picture below. However, i prefer my custom one. :mrgreen:

SAS never used Springfield, plus i don't have space for another weapon in the inventory.

Below i uploaded the improved custom scope reticles textures for K98 Mauser, Mosin-Nagant, Type 97 and Lee-Enfield sniper rifles.

Unpack the custom scopes.rar archive into your main (root) H&D Deluxe directory.

Credits for NilsZ for making the scopes circles more sharp and more realistic looking as a result. thup01

I further optimized the scope reticle of the custom Arisaka Type 97 sniper rifle and i made the markings on the scope properly aligned with the white crosshair.

See picture below.

Unpack the maps.mod.rar archive into your main (root) H&D Deluxe directory and replace file when asked.

i think i know why you can't fire a rocket in lying position. There is no animtion file for that, i don't know if it is possible bind one in the game.
