And holy crap!
Did you add uniforms to the inventory?! That's awesome! Am I reading the above picture right?

No, those are the default uniforms, that you could find in some stock missions and dress them as disguise (i mean of course the civilian and German clothes). You can't actually equip them into inventory before the mission, unless i add their ID number to the list of available items in H&D Deluxe.

Do you want that too?

There are also some mods, that add new uniform textures for Germans and US troops. However, this has nothing to do with the data.dta archive.
That would be awesome.
But didn't you say the inventory selection can only take a maximum of 64 things?

So, the "stock/vanilla weapons", like the Sten gun, or the MP40, is it impossible to give them back their MOH-style aiming models?
I don't understand you. Some H&D Deluxe weapons always had 2 modes of aiming - shoulder and iron sights. The weapons introduced by FFF expansion have only shoulder aiming like Thompson.

In addition some weapons from FFF and H&D shares the same aiming model like MP40.
Ok, can you show me a snapshot of the Sten gun with the shoulder aim?

See the pictures below. I don't see any difference between Sten from FFF and Sten from stock H&D.

OK, i managed to add German uniform into the list of available inventory in the 3rd campaign (Germany). I thought, i would be more realistic this way, since in few missions we start dressed as a German soldiers. I decided to add it only to this campaign, since the game would be too easy as a result.

However, this particular uniform texture is taken from a mod, not from a stock H&D Deluxe. Your could look different.

See pictures below.

Did you add the German camo overhaul to this mod?

Ah yes, I see now.

We misunderstood each other. The "shoulder view" is called "3rd person view" here in the USA.

I meant; is it impossible to make the stock weapons, like the Sten gun, look "shooting from the hip" in 1st person view, like in Classic FFF?

As i remember correctly the new German uniform mod actually replaces the existing stock German uniform textures.

The mod replaces some textures from the stock H&D Deluxe maps folder related to certain German soldier models.

You could download this mod yourself and try it. This is not my mod.

Well, if you got classic H&D 1 installed along with the classic FFF you could maybe replace the weapons aiming models from classic FFF to "modern" H&D Deluxe. I never tried this method - it is only theory. I only have the H&D Deluxe version on my PC.

So, if You have installed the classic FFF (or Devil's Bridge as it is called in USA) you could upload here some models and i will replace them.

Please let me know.

Ah man. But I can't play the original game or FFF on my computer. Only Deluxe.

So it can't be done...

Nevertheless, I hope I don't need those overhauled uniforms for this new overhaul.

One thing I don't want changing is the uniforms.

Also, I figured a thread may be less private, but it's far less likely to be lost like a PM.

So I made a "guns" thread.

Well, i actually have a box edition of H&D 1 and FFF received as a gift from friend many years ago, but not installed on my PC. It should work on Windows XP OS.

However, you will need to be very precise which particular weapons models you want me to replace!

Moreover, there is no guarantee that this method will work, since i never done it!

Please let me know. (i should be a saint)

I am suddenly happy again.

If I was a girl, I could kiss you.

Anyway, Check out the guns thread.
The Johnson doesn't exist in FFF so it will have no model.

And the belt-fed Browning can stay the way it is, sight-wise. As I want the BAR 1918 to be added.

Well, i already added the BAR 1918 from FFF to the inventory list and it could be used standing.

Unfortunately, i cannot open the models.dta archive from the stock FFF expansion, so i unistalled it from my hard drive.

As i said you before, it could work or not.

Are you able to play the missions of the original FFF?

If you do, you can see what I meant about the MP40 and MP44 sights.
