Go back to the very first post of this thread to see the basics, and then I can show you possible changes to the missions.
OK, so:

- A.D. 3B Weapon weight, can we make them all the lighter/more reasonable weight like they were in DB/FFF?;

- A.D. 3C Rates of fire, is there any way to alternate between weapon versions?
Like the vanilla MP44 is much better than the DB/FFF version, but the DB/FFF version of the MP40 is much better than the vanilla.

- A.D. 3E ALL USA and UK weapons should be available from the start.

Those above mentioned changes i could make, the other changes i simply don't know how to make and i never experienced with the files related with them. I was never interested in those game aspects such the music. I found it only disturbing during gameplay.

Now, i will need Your data.dta archive from the stock, un-edited H&D Deluxe, because mine is changed in many aspects and i didn't make a backup. Upload it here in this thread as a *.rar archive, just as i did in my add-ons threads. So, i could start making changes for You when i have some free time.

Wait, so you can't use the DB/FFF gun-sight models?

"I found it only disturbing during gameplay."
What do you mean?

So, the soldiers for the campaign selection in DB/FFF, you can't add them to Deluxe?

The guns sights models could be defined in the inventry_0.tab table. The weapon's sight model is just a *.i3d file. So, the gun sights from FFF could be used in H&D Deluxe - meaning that the "guns sights" would be shooting from shoulder. It basically means to add weapons from FFF into H&D Deluxe - copying them from one inventory table to another one (from inventry_1.tab to inventry_0.tab).

I generally turn off the music in all games, because it distracts me and i couldn't focus on my actual gaming, that's all.

As i wrote earlier, i don't know about Your other requests like adding soldiers from FFF to H&D Deluxe, so don't ask me about them.

What about the halftrack used in the first Battle of the Bulge mission, the Devil's Bridge?

The halftrack in that particular mission is different than the one used in the vanilla game.

It looks more realistic; why not replace the one in the labor camp with it?

That reminds me; in the Road to Peenemunde, there are two half-tracks, the one you spawn with, and one in the camp. Did you notice that they have two very different speeds?

To be honest, i didn't notice any difference between them. If i see enemy halftrack i try to destroy it, that's all.

Start the first mission of the Ardennes, snipe the gunner, and inspect the vehicle.

In DB/FFF, that halftrack had 0.1 fuel left, and in Deluxe, none at all. :(

And then play the Road to Peenemunde again.

Well, the German halftrack model should look just like this to be realistic: http://www.cadnav.com/3d-models/model-34517.html

I don't need to play those missions, because i could actually open them in HD Editor to see the "supposed" differences between halftracks.

Indeed, the halftrack's model name used in the first mission of the Ardennes campaign from Fight For Freedom expansion is different, than halftrack's model name used in the 5th mission of the German campaign. The first model was named "v_hakl", while the second "hakl". However, i see no significant visual differences between them. They also share the same speed characteristics - except the speed ratio.

Also, believe me, there were DOZENS of different models of halftrack that the Germans used. I just think that particular model is supposed to have the hatches on the back, like in FFF.

Hello,

i know about it. I only gave You an example how a German halftrack should look like in general.

The Sdkfz halftrack was a very versatile vehicle, it served in many roles in WW II.

I also like the halftrack model from Fight for Freedom expansion more, because is more realistic.

Back to our lessons. :)

You don't need to give pronouns like "you" a capital letter.

Also, why take the type out "Fight for Freedom", when you can just type "FFF", no? :)

P.S. :) is a smiling face.

Are you still interested in my help or not?

If not, i will focus on Silent Hunter 4 instead - as i just made my first small mod to this game and i am waiting for feedback from people. Beside that, the Silent Hunter 4 community is still active and new mods are being developed - in contrast to the H&D Deluxe community which is almost dead.

I requested you earlier, to post in this thread your un-modified data.dta archive from H&D Deluxe, so i will start making the changes that you wanted.

It seems, that you are not reading my posts. Looks like i am wasting my time.
