I have exactly the same list but instead of Wilfred Towny I chose Daniel Paczowski

I had also another idea, how about changing the unspecial characters to give them a bit diffrent advantages? For example a man with 100% stealth and 95% reaction. In normal gameplay i took always the 3 guys with 100% strength and the 2 guys with 90% endurance.

this is a good idea to delete the worst soldiers to put the FFF soldiers. :roll:

You choose the best FFF soldiers and put them in your mod. nods01

BTW, I see you've been giving Yugoslavia 2 a "new skin", VERY nice looking. :grin: Were you able to get the trolley working again?

all the Davids are noobs. I guess that Allen Ape McDonald is the prima donna that you mentioned.
The trolley is already driving since version 1.0 :)
In the next update i will bring the new soldiers set and also some bug fixes. I saw that the sky is missing in the end scene and Textures in Yugoslavia 5 are not matching. Also the Italy campaign should have italian enemies instead of germans.

Is there any way for you and Jakub to somehow merge your two mods? Both of you are experts, but are coming up with different products. I'd LOVE to have both, but I can't.

Speaking for myself there are some big differences between my "H&D Deluxe: the ultimate mod" and Nilsz "Hidden and Dangerous extended mod" like inventory lists, textures, game settings, etc. In my opinion there are too many incompatibilities between them to be able to merge in one mod.

Yes, the mods are too different. I tried to keep the original missions untouched, while the ultimate mod modified every mission.
But of course I can make addons from Ultimate mod missions if jakub is agreed.

You could make addons based on my mod, but please credit me and other modders accordingly (i am using few new models and textures).

Tartar sauce, I was afraid of that.
What about borrowing certain bits, like say, the tram moving on the main track on Danube 2, or that Mosin-scoped rifle?

I have some suggestions regarding your mod if you don't mind:

1) according to the first post in the topic and list of changes: "medium tanks can be destroyed by strong machine-guns". In example i destroyed the Panther tank near the pontoon bridge in the first mission of the Ardenes campaign using portable MG42. Not realistic in my opinion.

2) medium and heavy tanks should be immune to the anti-tank rifle fire. This weapon was invented to be used against targets with thinner armor like light tanks. Still such weapon would be good for dealing with enemy halftracks present in some H&D Deluxe missions.

Maybe you could remove those features in the next mod update?

Anyway good mod, i am impressed (especially i like the new textures that look like taken from the old Thief game series which i played a lot). thup01

Are the enemy and AI controlled allies equipped with new custom weapons in the game (like G43, FG42, etc) or only the player and his squad could use them in the course of the campaigns?

In HDD there is no sky texture in the first yugoslavia mission. Somehow they forgot it when the ported it from HD Classic.

I forgot to ask, what kind of H&D are you guys playing? The free internet Deluxe download, or the Action Pack version from Steam?

The free download Deluxe version and the Deluxe from the Action Pack are completely the same. I began with the HD Delxue download version in 2005 and i am only using that version. I own also HD2+Addon, HD classic, FFF and the Playstation-Version. But my only favourite is HD Deluxe.
