P.S. One last thing before I leave..., 3 panzerfausts hitting the top, from the hill above, had no effect also.

Sounds like the Panzerfaust is to weak now. Make some tests with bazooka and compare the results.

Thank you in advance. I would do all those tests myself, but currently i don't have free time.

OK, i tested the Bazooka and Panzerfaust in my modified Norway 1 mission. thup01

Indeed, both weapons seam weaker than default and the locomotive is especially tough (i don't know why).

The armored railway car could be blow up by Bazooka and Panzerfaust (i aimed for the German black cross on both sides).

As for the locomotives, i suspect, that the H&D Deluxe game developers made them that way purposely. Do you remember, if the locomotives were also so resistant to damage in the classic H&D 1?

I don't know, if this has anything to do with their collision volumes. I thought, that a big enough collision volume could "absorb" the explosion power, preventing the object to be destroyed, but i am not so sure.

I will need to perform further testing.

OK, after careful testing i decided to make the following changes in the data.dta archive, beside the ones that i already implemented:

- all grenades power in the mat_sound.tab table changed from default 4000 back to the 2000 value,

- to compensate, that the grenades explosion will be less powerful, i increased the grenades explosion range from 15 to 20 meters in the mat_sound.tab table,

- the resistance ID 6 value restored to default 3000 and the thresh value to default 2100.

Those mostly stock H&D Deluxe settings work best and all vehicles and objects that use resistance ID 6 (tanks, halftracks, armored railway cars, etc) will be now immune to grenade explosion.

Panzerfaust and Bazooka could now destroy the Tiger just like in the stock H&D Deluxe.

As for the locomotive, even with the default settings i wasn't able to destroy it while shooting at its front using Bazooka or Panzerfaust.
I managed to blow up the locomotive while shooting in the sides using Bazooka or Panzerfaust (only 1 shot needed).

As for the armored railway car i blew it up by shooting in the sides using Bazooka or Panzerfaust (only 1 shot needed).

As for the halftrack i blew it up by shooting in the front or back or in the sides using Bazooka (i didn't test the Panzerfaust yet, but the results should be the same).

Please download and test my modified data.dta archive.

So, what about my newest data.dta archive version (the one marked as "Updated 28.10.2017")? Everything OK?

Happy Halloween Myron!

We also "celebrate" it here in Poland, but to a limited extend, because it is a Anglo-Saxon tradition not Slavic.

Not much seems changed; tanks now die with one shot, (AT mine, panzerfaust), which is better than a tank that is invincible.
Everything looks good.

We don't celebrate it at all.
It was created by band of baphomet-worshipers who conducted human sacrifice.

Well, by "celebrate" i mean dressing in Halloween costumes and visiting homes for candies (trick or treat).

Maybe i used wrong word...

I know, that the Halloween has Pagan cult origins.
