So, with all that said, could you write here some proposals about changes in Norway4 and Norway5 missions?

I would like to finish the editing of the stock Norway campaign - i never really liked it (maybe except for the first 3 missions in the campaign).

Well, those men with the dark-blue uniforms with the swastika arm-band may be members of SS, but they insignia in WWII was a pair of "lightnings sign" on their arms. However, if i remember correctly, the instructor mentioned about elite SS troops guarding the complex.

Anyway, given the rarity of their uniform, I was hoping one of them would be Steiner's secretary, but that is in the past. Perhaps, you can add one to the jeep in Poland 1.

We will discuss this later, when i start editing the stock FFF missions.

Let's focus now on Norway4 and Norway5.

Have you got any proposals for changes in those stock missions?

I already edited the Norway5 mission long time ago.

Most important would be to edit the enemy weapons ID to match the newest data.dta archive.

Why not like it?
I love opportunities to work a disguise.

Admittedly, the Norway 4 "get more uniforms" is pointless. So why not spawn all 4 of us with German uniforms? And increase the amount of time the disguise works by a bit?
There is also a bug, where if you change from the winter SS uniform to a grey-side-cap uniform, the winter uniform converts to an SAS red beret.

You could replace the model boat for a real one, and have a man manning the gun.

Norway 5,
Add the changes you originally had, but add a German manning the boat's gun, as well as the Sub's new MG.

Replace the halftrack models.

Other than that, I can't think of anything. You could add a partisan waiting for us at the escape point.

Did you know that you could reach that escape point in ANY way?
Heh heh heh, this is also a rare map where we can literally race the vehicles to see which is fastest. funny02

I am OK with the stock Norway4 mission objectives and instructions about obtaining enemy uniform. I will NOT increase the "amount of time the disguise works", because i already did that in Danube2 mission.

I will look into this uniform bug.

About the patrol boat: i will think about it.

Norway 5,

I could add a German which will operate the boat's MG.

I could replace the halftrack models to the ones from FFF expansion.

Maybe i will add a Norwegian Resistance fighter near the escape point, however there is no winter uniform version of it, so he will look stupid in summer dress, lol.

Well, according to the actual inventory table, those uniforms that are laying on the table in Norway4 mission have ID number 7 assigned to them, which means that those are German uniforms.

I removed the Colt.45 from inventory of some German soldiers in this mission.

I increased the quantity of ammo carried by some German soldiers, because they had sometimes only one magazine available for their weapons (MP40 or MP44).

I replaced the stock model of the German officer which carry the key to those locked doors, with a model better suited for an officer.

I will only need to add a patrol boat with mounted MG and the mission would be ready for testing. thup01

Please download and test it. I added a usable patrol boat, see picture below. By usable i mean with a mounted machine-gun with ammo, but WITHOUT fuel.


Now i will start editing the Norway5 mission.

No, I meant the German Winter uniform.
If you change from German winter to the grey one, the White German one magically changes to an SAS uniform. The grey one stays the same.

Nothing happens to the Gray-winter SAS uniform, or the Grey German one, but the white German does change.

Sadly, I must sleep now.

I suggest to leave the stock Northoc mission (5th H&D Deluxe campaign) as it is by default - unless significant bug will be found.

OK, i edited the Prague1 mission. thup01

I updated weapons ID of some enemies, to match the newest data.dta archive.

I changed all stationary machine-guns to fire in single mode, instead of 3 bullets at a time.

I made a possibility to shoot through metal fences - i think that this is more realistic.

I gave the Tiger on the cathedral square the settings from the FFF Tiger version.

Please download and test this mission.

I removed Colt .45 from enemy soldiers inventory.

I made the mounted machine-gun on the motocycle shoot in single mode, instead of 3 bullet at a time.

I removed the Russian T34 tank, because it cannot shoot from the cannon and i don't know why.


So, now is the time to start editing the stock FFF missions! :grin:

I see no reason for changing the model of the counter-intelligence officer driver in the Poland1 mission. See picture below.
