can anybody help me to create my own server?i'm trying to do this long time.can anobody give me step by step instructions?

Whe need to know youre internet setup modem only router etc ?? xp vista
voip on router etc

The easiest way to do this is add your computers LAN IP address to the DMZ on the router. This forwards all ports and is easier than adding half a dozen port forwarding rules.
Switch Windows Firewall on to provide protection while running the server. Other firewalls can be confusing to set up properly, especially if they have outbound protection (as most do, including Zone Alarm)
Make sure PeerGuardian or other IP blocking programs are disabled
