bolt action rifles eject the spent case manually when you reload using the "bolt action", not autoamtically after the trigger is pulled.

What do you mean? a standard single bolt rifle will eject the empty shell when you reload the next bullet... not when you push the trigger

I think in H&D the empty case ejects as you fire, rather than when you load the next bullet.
