corrupt save

hi,
not sure whether to post in bugs or ts, but i've got a real pita problem, had a game crash (xp sp2) during sabre squad mission to blow up supply dump in france, and now the savegame is corrupt. tha game starts but claims there is no save game. save game directory has load of cam_sav files, including a 1.7 meg one that's the right date, anyone know if it's recoverable, or have i got to start from scratch. even if there's some way to step back to a previous save point it'd be good

That happened for me as well, don't know if it's recoverable or not. I just started from scratch. :(
