I accidentally pressed a default settings button, and H&D2 doesn't ask for a confirmation. I simply reassigned most of the keys as I like them, but, there is a problem.

In my old scheme, pressing right control causes my commando to crouch. Pressing it again causes him to lie flat. Pressing it a third time caused him to stand again. Then there was a second button that did this in reverse, exempli gratia, press once to lay flat rather than crouch. A loop.

In any case I can't figure out how I did this. It's driving me mad trying to play with separate keys for crouching and laying.
Any ideas?

Was there a key to cycle through the stance in H&D2? H&D1 had it but I'm not sure if H&D2 did?

I don't think HD2 ever had that option.

"Lie Down" key, this makes you lie down in one key press.

Yeah, he knows that. He wants a key that does all three functions in succession.

Well, I don't know what it was. I vaguely recall going through this before, but perhaps I'm delusional.

In other news, I have discovered that the "slow movement bug" is reset simply by going to MP and refreshing, no server entry required.
