H&D2 closes on startup.

Alright, so I just finished installing H&D2 on my computer, however, when I double-click the .exe it opens up the window for the LS3D engine and then immediately closes itself with no error popup. I have tried patching it to 1,06. I have tried running it in compatibility mode. I have tried reinstalling it multiple times. Those attempts have left me disappointed and frustrated. I'm running Windows Vista x64bit. Please help.

Hi, welcome to the forums.
Sorry I missed your post and no one else has posted a reply. Have you had any luck with this? any error messages popping up yet? Does the .exe close from the task manager or is it still running in the background?

Nope, still no error messages at all, the .exe also is not in the task manager after it closes itself. Thanks for the attention.

What kind of monitor are you running? Run the setup.exe and make sure the resolution is one that your monitor supports. Are you using a graphics card? Which one?

I had to set it to 1280 x 920 which is my monitor resolution but now it works!

Yeah, my wife had the same problem a few months ago after changing monitors.
