I have HD2 with latest patch (v1.12). I just recently got HD2 Sabre S.

But at the end of install I get this message:

The wizard was interrupted before Hidden & Dangerous 2 could be completely installed.

I did not do anything during install.

What is wrong...?

I have had the same problem with "LL - Magma Cum Laude", "Tony Hawk Underground 2", "Sid M. - Pirates!". I had the same problem with "Call of Duty - United Offensive" as well, but I manually installed it with help from tech support at EA. The other games I could not play.

Do you know how to manually install Sabre Squadron....?

hmm is the cd lean enough? u havent got multiple of the same cd (like 2 cd 1's and so on) or else iam afraid maybe booting the enitire comp over again.

offcourse u could just try to reinstall the vd/dvd rom s drivers

sounds like you have some kind of software that somehow interrupts the installation process... or your cd/dvd-rom is fucked

how old are your computer?

i would format the computer and see if the problem was still there...

Don't reformat just yet, did you try shutting down all non essential prcesses before installing. Might work.

Problem solved. I re-installed windows.

i did that too a couple of days ago... it is the nicest feeling on earth with a 100% clean OS :)
