Has anyone gotten HD2 to work on a Vista x32 machine?

Hello.  I see there are people who have talked this to no avail.  Hopefully I can find out...

I love HD1 and want to get HD2, but I'm using a Vista x32  machine.  A friend of mine downloaded a cracked version of HD2 on his Vista machine and was never able to get it to work.  I think he runs Vista x64.  Anyway, he tried everything...

So, do I order HD2 and chance it never running on my machine?

Um... well, the reason it didn't work because it was a dodgy copy. H&D1 and H&D2 work PERFECTLY fine on Win98/XP/Vista and Windows 7

Thanks for the reply.  I wanted to get someone vouching for the game before I ordered it.  Didn't want to buy a program that was useless on Vista.  So, just ordered it.
